Occasionally you'll find items such as neggs, map pieces, faeries, Neopoints, food, and more on the floor. It happens often, but you have to move around a lot to get anything, or do a lot of refreshing :) !! Some worlds have their own random events.
How do I get random events?
There is no way to for sure to get one. But you have a better
chance if you roam around the Neopet site.
What are Random Events?
Random Events are things that happen randomly while your
on neopets. They happen around the site, so the more you
explore, the more you get.
Are there only good random events?
No. There are bad random events too. Sometimes you lose
some neopoints or a item, and sometimes you gain neopoints
or a item. It's totally random.
Can I get my item back that I lost from a random event?
Nope, sorry, but once it's gone it's gone. But if you keep
items and NP in your bank or Safety Deposit Box (SDB), they won't get stolen.
What are fake random events?
Fake random events are unofficial random events that look
like random events. Fake random events are used for shops
and petpages. Nothing really
happens to you if it's a Fake Random Event. They may have
a link to a guild, or something. It's just to get your attention.
How can you tell the difference between fake random event
and real ones?
Real random events happen at the top of the page, while
fake ones happen at the bottom or the middle of the page.
Fake random events are there, even when you refresh, real
ones disappear.
