"Flame of Fire" by The Governor of Worship Minister Ursula T. Wright (2008 Conference Psalmist)

In August, 2008 a two day-event took place wherein The SISTAHS Ministry united with non-profit organizations to host the "SISTAHS Embracing the Elevation" Conference.  The purpose of the conference is embrace the blessings that God has given us. It's an event that women will be talking about for years to come.

WAKE UP TO WORSHIP ~ SATURDAY CELEBRATION

Our Morning began with prayer intercession with Rev. Gayla Folson and the Lord's anointing surrounded us through Praise & Worship by Sister Prenestine Williams Porter and Pastor R. Janae Pitts, who awakened our spirits with the Lord's relevatory Word spoken through her...

Worshop Facilitators (Evangelist JoAnne James, Michelle Brown and Elder Denise Coffey) offer tools to elevate our minds, hearts and lives, and Pastor Martina Wade took us to the ultimate experience, igniting a beginning of walking in the elevation.

 About The SISTAHS Ministry International

The S.I.S.T.A.H.S. Ministry began in August, 2006 in Michigan and now has five other State Chapters (Florida, Massachusetts, New York, Nevada,  Pennsylvania and Tennessee).  The S.I.S.T.A.H.S. Ministry is a women's ministry whose main objective is to uplift God through encouraging and edifying sisters to move forward in the blessings of the Lord.  The Ministry seeks to combine the gifts and talents given to women and teen girls of God  (through the written Word, journalistic gifting, businesses and fellow ministries) in the upbuilding of God's Kingdom and be a viable Christian women's resource when one can find food for the soul, hope in the difficult times, and network to support the ministries of other women of God.  As of October, 2008 the enlightening force of God's Word through The SISTAHS Ministry was enlarged internationally into Torino, Italy and Nigeria, Africa, and in June, 2009 expanded the international ministry to India under the covering of The Hebron Prayer Church with Pastor Joshua Gona.

SAFE Mission Statement:

To equip survivors of domestic violence with the appropriate financial tools and resources needed to enable women to leave or recover from the economic portion of domestic violence.

SAFE’s community awareness initiatives increase the awareness of how domestic violence affects women on an economic level that is often overlooked. Abusers utilize power and control to restrict access to financial resources, which ultimately limits options for the abused to leave their abusive situation. A study conducted by the U.S. Department of Justice explains that in cases of economic abuse, victims are often hesitant to leave their abuser or end up returning to the abuser for financial reasons. To combat this epidemic, SAFE assists survivors of domestic violence through specialized training focused on gaining or building the skills needed to reenter the workforce, obtain higher paying positions and manage their finances to break the cycle of economic abuse.
