The Tournament
It is the year 3017. Despite ancestor beliefs, the world's technology has not increased, and peace has not reigned. The exact opposite has happened. Humans traverse the polluted land on foot, living off what they can, taking shelter in the remnants of cities, or the shells of towns. All forms of government have been vandalized, and it's every man for himself.
One human, however, has risen above the others, a mysterious man known as Dr. Never. After finding the remains of a laboratory, he studied the machinery, and recreated his own technology. However, his pride refuses to allow the world access, so he instead thought of another way to share. He let spread the rumor of a great tournament taking place in what was previously North America, now known as Anraia. The prize is unknown, but immense, and whispers of paradise are heard frequently.
People from all over the world are now heading toward Anraia, their eyes sparkling with the hope of a better life, luxurious in technology as their ancestors had once been.
