Kannada Sangha has instituted “Singaara Puraskaara” (“Singaara Awards”) from the year 2000 onwards to recognise achievements of Kannada Sangha members and their immediate family members. These awards will pay special attention on the achievements of the children. The achievements in the following categories will be considered for an Award:

   Education 
   Sports 
   Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) - Excluding Sports
