Wow, this website`s been going for 3 months already?
It`s surprising how many assignments you can have due in so little time! I wish that my school would spread out the due dates for assignments, because I know how all the piled up assignments can drive us 6th graders bonkers! Well, this month, I`ve got the current events homework due in geography, my final draft of the short story due in creative writing, and above all that, I`ve got to help out with my church`s Christmas performance! (That`s not exactly an assignment, but it really adds to the pressure!)
I`ve realized that I have more friends in math, science, creative writing, and drama than I do in choir, dance, english, and geography. I`ve concluded that I just don`t 'click' with some of the kids, and and do with some others. But I guess it`s okay as long as I can get along with everyone, and as long as I don`t have anyone to pick fights with.
Just to let everyone know, the Christmas Dessert Theater (my church`s Christmas performance) is on December 7, 8, and 9 (if I`ve invited you, you know where that is, and if I haven`t invited you, well, I kinda depended on others to invite you, so just get the address of the church from anyone who goes to my school). I can`t wait to see you all there, and if you want to come but haven`t reserved tickets yet, then ask someone for the e-mail address/phone number, and reserve tickets for Sunday. I keep wondering if people from my school reserved some tickets, because at church, they announced that the tickets for Friday and Saturday were sold out! And I guess that my twin can`t come, either. :(
That last thing I`d like to say to you all is, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! May God bless you this Christmas!
Happy New Year, everyone!
January`s starting out a little bit boring, but once I get back to school.....OUCH.....(sorry, I tend to expect the worst from school. Not that the kids are mean. They`re atually pretty decent people. It`s just that they`re LOUD....and the teachers will give us TONS of homework....I KNOW it...)
Hope to see everyone happy again when I get back to school!
Valentine`s Day is coming!
I`m pretty sure that I`m gonna give my friends Valentines (and I`ll try to make a joke out of Ben`s Valentine to make it a friend-ish as possible, and make sure that none of it is mushy).
If you want a Valentine from me, e-mail me your e-mail address and your name.
Stay awesome this Valentine`s Day!
Spring break was REALLY boring.
On the bright side, I got to sleep over at my totally awesome friend, Lisa`s house! It was really fun, and we talked lot (of course!) Well, first, we went to the movies, then we got our pictures taken, then we went to Fisher`s Landing playground (WHOO I GOT TO PLAY ON THE SWINGS!) and then we ate at Hometown Buffet! It was totally awesome!
Also, I had a piano recital. It was actually pretty awesome....I got a new dress, I got to play a really great song, and I got to eat really yummy treats. Totally cool!
It`s cold, wet, and raining...global warming my foot.
April`s just a month of waiting for the day Lisa can come over for the sleepover. On the bright side, all my friends are keeping me busy. REAL busy.
Alright, LOTS of things happenning this month:
1) PRINCE CASPIAN IS COMING OUT ON THE 16TH!!!! WHOO!!!
2) LISA`S COMING TO SLEEP OVER!!!! WHOO!!!
3) MOTHER`S DAY!!!!
4) MY MOM`S BIRTHDAY!!!!
So, yeah, you can expect to me to be REALLY excited....plus, I get to see Lisa 3 times this month!
W00T! Almost summer vacation! I can`t wait, and yet at the same time, it`s kinda sad to be leaving my friends...then again, it`s just 3 months, so I guess I`ll be okay...
I went to Katy`s birthday party yesterday. It was fun, interesting, and quite funny. You`d be surprised how many characters you can act like while playing with your friend`s little brother`s butterknife. (I acted like Peter Pevensie, Reepicheep, and Silvie of Southern. How many more characters can I act like?) The food was fantastic there (ASIAN FOOD! Go Katy) and her brother is awesome, even though everyone else thinks that he`s a little demon. (HE IS NOT A DEMON!!! HE IS AN INNOCENT LITTLE BOY!!!)
Omigrapes. Guess who`s going to the American Idol tour? ME AND MY BFF, LISA!!! AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Lisa and I have got it all planned out! Especially what we`re going to wear! (I will look incredible! I know it!)
I haven`t seen my 5th grade friends FOREVER! I SO need to invite the pack over for a summer movie night! So awesome, they can come to my house every other week for a movie night, and we all get to choose what movie we want to watch out of lotsa movies! I`m inviting Makenzy, Madi (Bellwood), Sami (if someone can call her), and Maddie (Delgado)!!! YAY!!! I love my packie...
Soo, yeah. Mesah gotsa meh summer planned out, and now meh is done with this entry! YAYAS!!!!
The American Idol Concert was AMAZING. The top 10 Idols were there, and it was awesome! We got suite tickets, so we were up in a suite, and we could come out and there were our seats! We were really high up, so we got binoculars. The sight was so clear!
We got free food and everything! They had the best pasta salad. How do I know? Because that`s the only pasta salad I`ve ever enjoyed eating! There was even a time when I got way too much of it, so then Lisa and Mika helped me finish it all! We were just there, tackling the pasta...lol! There were also some celery sticks, chips, fried chicken, brownies, cookies, and more food. Food, glorious food! But the food that made everyone laugh was the huge poptart mascot!
Kristy Lee Cook got the first standing ovation after she sang "God Bless the U.S.A". (Apparently, everyone there was quite patriotic.) Kristy seemed happy, back in her home state. The two Davids also got a lot of screams. But, msot of the screams for David Archuleta came from my suite. We were officially dubbed the Archuleta suite, after screaming during the new Guitar Hero commercial every time Archie`s face came up. (It was fun to see the other top 10 with those hairstyles and clothing! Lol! And when Lisa and I screamed, "I LOVE YOU, ARCHIE!!!" he shouted, "Thank you!" IT WAS SO AWESOME!!!!)
After the concert, we waited in line to buy an Archie shirt and pre-signed photo. While I went on and on about how the world truly is a nice place to be in, no matter how many terrorists were out to get us (wow I was optimistic that night), we all bought our things. I`ll always remember the concert as a truly wonderful night.
Lisa, Mika, and I slept over at Tita Lucy`s house for a night. We made chocolate cake the next morning, which was delicious (especially with cold milk)! We also ate some blueberries, and I injured a fly`s wing. :D
Lisa and Mika`s parents picked us up, and we all went to this Chinese resturant. Of course, I got lotsa noodles, because I`m a noodle fan. After that, it was Lisa, Mika, Rachel, and I just goofing around. I got to play on their Wii, which was fun (even though my arm hurt afterwards. Heh). We watched the Spiderwick movie, and we watched Hairspray (although I fell asleep for a bit of it, just to wake up and see the last 30 minutes of it)!
The next morning was spent making a sweet breakfast (banana bread and chocolate chip pancakes, YUM!) and goofing around even more. At lunchtime, we went to eat at King`s Buffet. Lisa, Jedrik, and I had a contest to see who could keep Pepsi © on the tip of their tongue the longest. I was the first to give up, but that was only beacause my tongue started to tingle, and it felt really, really weird. I think that Lisa won. And, of course, Lisa and I obsessed over David Archuleta and Jedrik openly regretted asking Lisa a question that involved Archie. (LOL!)
After that, we watched Hancock, which was a better movie than I expected (besides the continued use of the word a-hole). Lots of it was hilarious!
When we got back to their house, it was more goofing around until it was time for me to go home.
The rest of July has been...boring. I haven`t really done much besides practice piano and go to swimming lessons (which leave my limbs aching afterwards). However, I have something coming up in August!
Pepsi © is a property of Pepsi Co.
Hello again! You may have been wondering what the upcoming thing for August is, so...
...I`m going to the StudentLIFE Camp for a week!
Okay, not exactly a week, more like 5 days, but since everyone calls that a week (which I don`t get, because it is not a week, it is a week minus 2 days), I guess I`ll just say a week because apparently it`s easier to say a week than 5 days (which I also don`t get. Us girls talk a lot anyways, we might as well be more technical when we talk!).
I`m leaving on Monday (that`s the 3rd, I think...no, wait, it`s the 4th), and I`m not allowed to bring my cellphone or iPod, which are practically a part of my body now, so that`s going to be like leaving behind my left arm. Well, as long as I`ve got my right arm (which I deem more important) and my two legs and everything else, I`ll be okay.
I`ll admit to being a little bit nervous at first, due to the fact that it is 5 days and the longest I`ve stayed away from home is 3 days and 2 nights and the fact that I can`t say I really know anyone from Youth Group (except for the other 6th graders, but they`re all boys that I stopped interacting with almost a year ago, but the girls seem really nice, I guess I could try talking to them). However, reading Red by Ted Dekker brought me quite an effective distance closer to God, and that`s really the whole point of going to the StudentLIFE Camp, to get to know God better and grow closer to Him. So, now I`m pretty excited about it! Plus, I`m willing to wager anyone that the housing there (the dorms at George Fox University) is better than the mosquito-infested cabins at Camp Kiwanilong. (Talk about embracing nature! I`m still itchy!)
Oh, also, David Archuleta`s new single was aired on the radio! And I heard it! (Well, I didn`t wake up at 4:something like Lisa did, since I`m not exactly a morning person, but I heard it on YouTube, and Lisa`s, like, crazy obsessed, while I`m just obsessed. And if you`re reading this, hi, Lisa! Hope this made you smile. :D) It`s called "Crush" and it`s amazing. It`s mid-tempo, which is what I think he was trying to go for when he chose to sing "With You" on American Idol (though it was kinda scary, because David Archuleta and Chris Brown is the second to last combination I can think of, the first to last is David Archuleta and Soulja Boy, but that`s too scary to even talk about for too long), but he was way better when he sang "Crush". Of course, Lisa and I were freaking out when we first heard it, and we talked on our cellies for...quite a while. Ha. (She has AT&T, though, so it`s all good!) It really doesn`t sound like a song that David would write, since I think he would write about something deeper than crushes and that stuff, but hey, it was really good! I can`t wait to get his album (and I`ll have enough money by that time! Because my birthday`s one of the months before it comes out! Yay! So I get iTunes money in advance, which I won`t spend until I have his full album)!
Speaking of David Archuleta (yes, I must go on, please bear with me, those of you who aren`t Archie fans, and if you are an Archie fan *cough* Lisa *cough*, then you can rant on about this stuff in the comments section), I joined his mobile list! It`s his fan number, and fans are allowed to leave messages (I left about 3, ha), and there are also text updates sent and stuff (I don`t text, but I don`t think we really have to reply to any of them, lol!), and when you call, you hear his voice (it`s a reciever or whatever, but it`s still cool), and then you leave him a message, and...yeah. Really cool!
Okay, that`s enough with my ranting. Go and check out some of the things around this website (so many things for me to update! AAAH!!!), and oh! Did I forget to mention that it`s only 2 more months until this site is a year old! A year! Imagine that!
UPDATE: I`m back from StudentLIFE camp! If you want a few more details about it, click here.
Well, school started. It`s alright. I`m trying harder in school, and hopefully I can maintain a 4.0 average.
September is a very big month!
First of, school starts, which is...fun? Well, definately benificial. (Although I just finished writing 3 pages of some thingy for science...)
Second, it`s Skandar Keynes` birthday! Happy birthday, Skandar! (His birthday was on...September the 5th.)
Also, the Stand Up to Cancer program was on the 5th! Congrats to David Archuleta`s Angels for making second place in the top 5 donators! I bet David`s really proud of you! (To hear the theme song for it, click here!) It`s an amazing cause, and I pray that someday soon, we`ll be able to find a cure to this terrible disease.
Fourth, David`s new music video will be coming up soon! Keep watching for it!
5th, Kristy Lee Cook`s new album will be coming out soon! I bet she has some great songs coming out!
Also, my birthday`s coming soon! (I`m not supposed to tell exactly when, though!)
Again, congrats to the Arch Angels! I`m just so glad you all got to help try and CRUSH KIDS` CANCER!!! We all think that it`s really cool of you to do, and thank you. There are so many people around us who might get kids` cancer someday, and we`re all waiting for the miracle to come, so it`s really awesome you could all contribute to that cause. A special congrats to their leader, Pecan Pie!
UPDATE: I`m getting baptized this month! Stay tuned for more news on it!
ANOTHER UPDATE: THE "CRUSH" MUSIC VIDEO IS ON YOUTUBE NOW! WATCH IT HERE!
LAST UPDATE!: I`ve gotten baptized! Go here to read about it!
Wow! It`s been a year since I`ve made this website! *Does a little happy dance*
There`s not much for me to look forward to in October, sadly. I`m not that crazy about Halloween (I prefer baked goods over candy), but I guess there`s a good side to this.
IT`S ONE MONTH CLOSER TO:
a) David Archuleta`s new album
b) Christmas!
So, I guess there are some good sides to a month you`re not really looking forward to. Those two, and it`s this website`s anniversary.
This wasn`t much of a bloggy thing. Sorry, there`s just not much happening this month!
Take care and have fun! (And try exploring the more interesting pages...)
Hey, kids. Sorry I`m late.
I had a bit of a long ground-ation, but now I`m "home free", so...WHOO! (I`d like to thank my mommy and daddy for ending my prohibation...)
In November, well, because of getting grounded, I wasn`t able to go to Lisa`s to sleep over. But, my mom lt me invite Lisa to the revolve Tour Concert. But, she had a project to do at school, so I went with my mom the first day, and alone-ish the second. (Not really, the youth girls were there the whole time.)
I pre-ordered David`s album on iTunes, but I don`t have the money to download it yet.
Not the best November.
It`s Deeeeeee-cehhhhhhhm-burrrrrrrrr! You know what that means!
CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!! (Whoo!!!!!...)
The house is finally decorated for the season, which I`m very glad of, because we had it all plain a little before, but now it`s all nice.
We have guests over right now, which is pretty neat.
David`s new music video, "A Little Too Not Over You", is awesome. I saw it.
Christmas is a different kind of celebration for a lot of people. But for me, it`s about the celebration of Christ`s birth, when God said to all of us, "You`re something special." And he proved it by bringing a payment for our sins. It was eally an incredible moment.
