Hi,

 

I would like to visit Wat Ban Rai in Feb.

 

Any advice on the transport from Bangkok?

We too interested to go as well. All i know is a long journey.

should rent a car with driver, or van. if not get local tours to drive you there..as its far from bangkok. if staying overnight there is hotel near the wat. if not can always sleep in the wat hall. there is also one row of toilets to take bath n so on.  the last time i got an van with driver and went aroudn thailand.

Well said lengteckchiang.  Always try to find the cheapest and most effective manner to visit temples.   LP Koon's temple is near to Kruba Krissana too.  Also on the way back after visiting LP Koon, can ask the driver to stop by at Ayutthaya to visit Wat Chedi Daeng and pay respect to LP Chamlong the ageing master of Takrut.
