Faith is Simple, Seeing is believing !!! Part One

Evidence from the English translation of Luke 6:40 that further prove that the word 'Muslim' was used by Jesus:

Jesus using the word "Muslim" in Luke 6:40

Let us look at Luke 6:40 from my N.I.V. Bible "A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher."

Taken from the Aramaic bible society. "Ein talmeed na'leh 'al rabbo; shekken kal adam she'MUSHLAM yihyeh k'rabbo."  hebrew_2.gif  (3.8 KB)

This is further proved by the Arabic translation:

Let us look at what Jesus said in Luke 6:40 in the language of Aramaic translated into Hebrew as shown below:

"Ein talmeed na'leh 'al rabbo; shekken kal adam she'MUSHLAM yihyeh k'rabbo."

Translation in English: "No student can be above his teacher, but everyone that is a MUSLIM, can be as his teacher."

Evidence from the English translation of Luke 6:40 that further prove that the word 'Muslim' was used by Jesus:

Luke 6:40 (KJV) The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

Luke 6:40 (Darby)
The disciple is not above his teacher, but every one that is perfected shall be as his teacher.

Luke 6:40 (Young's Literal Translation)
A disciple is not above his teacher, but every one perfected shall be as his teacher.

Luke 6:40 (21st Century King James Version)
The disciple is not above his master, but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

Luke 6:40 (American Standard Version)
The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher.

The perfection here means a spiritual one. What the verse is saying is that knowledge is not what matters! The teacher or master is higher in knowledge than his student. But the student can be as high as his teacher, or even higher, by being a true 'MUSHLAM' or Muslim, a spiritually perfect and well-disciplined person!

Important Note: The Hebrew word "Mushlam" comes from the root "Sh L M". "Shalom" which comes from the same root means "peace". The Arabic word "Muslim" comes from the root "S L M". "Salam" means "peace". "Salem" means "safe". You say early scripts incorporated into the early writings, it is right, but incorporated by God, because God taught same doctrines to different prophets at different times. But because scripts were altered and changed by human-made laws, God kept sending new books, that actually taught same laws! God surely doesn't mislead his creatures by teaching different values.

False prophet? Hmm, Bible from barnaba confirm BBY NAME that next prophet after Jesus will come and his name will be Muhammed, here's a link to Barnaba Bible: www.barnaba.net (give search to the word Muhammed, and you will find verses about him)!

The Hebrew word "Mushlam" comes from the root "Sh L M". "Shalom" which comes from the same root means "peace". In Later Hebrew maybe which post dates Islam.

Arabic word denoting "submission to God"; the name given to the religion of Mohammed and to the practises connected therewith. This religion was preached first to Mohammed's follow citizens in Mecca, then to all Arabia; and soon after his death it was spread to distant lands by the might of the sword. Its followers are called "Moslems" (Arabic,"Muslimin"). The word "Islam" represents the infinitive, the noun of action, of the factitive stem of the Arabic root "salam," and is rightly compared (Zunz, "Literaturgesch." p. 641; comp. Steinschneider, "Polemische und Apologetische Literatur," p. 266, note 56) with the use of the "hif'il" of "shalam" in later Hebrew; e.g., Pesiḳ. 125a ("mushlam"); Tan., ed. Buber, Gen. p. 46 ib. (where "hishlim" is used of proselytes).  link :  http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/v...id=289&letter=I

Matthew 15:14
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the sewer pit.

Al Quran: Isa (Jesus) pbuh: According to the Quran:

Islam is submission to the Will of Allah. It is the only religion preached by all the prophets and messengers; worship Allah alone and submit to Him alone.

O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those before you, that you may guard yourselves against evil. Who made the earth a floor for you, and the sky as a roof, and caused water to come down from the clouds to bring forth fruits for your sustenance, so do not set up equals to Allah, while you know it. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:21-22]

And (also mention) the woman (Maryam) who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her (womb) of Our Spirit (through angel Gabriel) and (We) made her and her son (Isa) a Sign for the worlds. [Chapter 21:91]

Say: He, Allah is one. Allah is He on Whom all depend. He begets not, nor is He begotten, And none is like Him. [Chapter 112:1-4]

There is no God but Allah. It is He Who gives life and causes death, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers. No, but they (unbelievers) divert them-selves with doubts. [Chapter 44:8-9]

These are the Signs (revelations) from Allah, (which) We recite to you (O Muhammad) with all truth. [Chapter 2:252]

Those Messengers! We preferred some to others. To some of them Allah spoke directly and some of them He raised in degrees of honour. And to Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), We gave manifest Signs, and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit (the angel Gabriel). And if Allah had so willed, those succeeding (generations) would not have fought each other after clear Signs (revelations) had come to them. But they (chose to) differ; some of them believing, and others disbelieving. And if Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah does what He desires. [Chapter 2:253]

And (Allah sets forth the example of) Maryam (Mary), the daughter of Imran who guarded her chastity - so We breathed Our Spirit (through angel Gabriel) into her (womb) - and she fulfilled (the prophecy conveyed to her in) the words of her Lord contained in His Revelations and she was one of the devoutly obedient (to Allah). [Chapter 66:12]

And (also mention) the woman (Maryam) who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her (womb) of Our Spirit (through angel Gabriel) and (We) made her and her son (Isa) a Sign for the worlds. [Chapter 21:91]

Relate (as mentioned) in the Book the account of Maryam (Virgin Mary), how (when) she withdrew from her family to a place towards the east. And screened herself off from them. Then We sent Our angel (Gabriel) to her and he appeared to her in the form of a full-grown man. She said: “Indeed I seek refuge with the Most Merciful (Allah) from you (come not near me and leave) if you do fear Him.” The angel said, “I am (only) an emissary of your Lord, (sent) to give you (glad tidings of) a holy son.” She said, “How can I bear a child when no man has touched me, neither I have (ever) been unchaste?” The angel said: “Thus (it will be); says your Lord: ‘That is easy enough for Me; and We will make him a Sign to mankind, and a mercy from Us, and it is a matter (already) decreed’.” [Chapter 19:16-21]

So she conceived him, and withdrew with him to a remote place. And the throes of childbirth led her to the trunk of a date-palm tree. She cried (in her anguish): “Ah, I wish I had died before this, had passed into oblivion, and become a thing quite forgotten!” [Chapter 19:22-23]

But a voice called to her, from below (the date-palm tree), saying: “Do not grieve; indeed your Lord has provided a rivulet right beneath you. And (if you) shake the trunk of the date-palm tree; it will drop fresh ripe dates in your lap. So, eat and drink and cool your eyes (i.e. rejoice). And if you meet any mortal, say: ‘I have vowed a fast to (God) the Most Merciful; therefore, will not speak this day to any human being’.” [Chapter 19:24-26]

The Religion of Ibrahim

And who will turn away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), except he who befools himself. Verily, We chose and purified him in this world, and in the hereafter he will be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him: “Submit”; he replied: “I submit to the Lord of the Worlds.” And Ibrahim left this very legacy to his sons. And so did Yaquob (Jacob), saying: “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen this religion for you; so let not death overtake you except in the state of complete submission (to Allah’s will).” [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:130-132]

Were you present when death approached Yaquob (Jacob), when he said to his sons: “What will you worship after me?” They replied: “We will worship your God, the God of your forefathers - Ibrahim (Abraham) and Ismael (Ishmael) and Is’haque (Isaac) - the One (and Only) God, and to Him do we submit ourselves.” Those were a people who have passed away, they shall have a reward for what they did, and you will have for what you do, and you will not be questioned about their actions. [The Holy Qur'an, Surah 2:133-134]
