Yes yes yes; It's true. Despite what I've seen, heard, and discussed about French/Canadian Band 'SIMPLE PLAN', I still listen to them, even love them. Call me idiot (and I know I don't need to extend the invitation) but I do. We all know Simple Plan is not the Holy Band that they're cracked up to be. Let's be serious. Even I can see that there are more meaningful lyrics to be discovered, and more tallent upon the guitar to be seen. I know that the singer doesn't have the best voice. I got it already!
But the truth is, I still like them.
So sue me.
I can't explain why. Maybe it's because they were the first 'Semi-Rock' band I've ever listened to. (All my previous bands hailed from purely accoustic music, and I still love them.) Maybe because some times when things get a little too heavy (And I don't mean 'Dad! You never understand me!) and I want to remember being only thirteen years old, I can fall back on the music I listened to then. I can laugh at the dramas and angsts I thought were problems back then.
So any way, this sit's kind of for me, kind of for the other people who feel the same, and even for Simple Plan themselves. Lord knows, I have to show my dedication to them some how.
So explore a little. Look around. Everything here's bound to change eventually.
