Simon will be performing at a special gig on November 15th, at RADA on Malet St. It is part of an 80th Birthday Celebration for jazz lyricist legend and beat poet extraordinaire, Fran Landesman. Simon will be performinig one of Fran's songs at this event, hosted by Farrago Poetry. For details go to www.myspace.com/farragopoetry Simon has been performing with Fran for the last couple of years, performing at such events as National Poetry Day at The 100 Club and has collaborated on two of her lyrics, 'All My Songs' and 'Crazy Days' for which Simon has written the music.
Simon is planning to record a jazz album this year with his band The Simon Lawrence Jazz Band. It will be an album of primarily Fran Landesman songs.
