Birth Name: Simone Nicole Jean Lahbib Ould Cheikl

Born: February 6th, 1965 in Stirling, Scotland, UK.

Simone Lahbib comes from Stirling and is the eldest of five children. Her sister Nicole is also an actress and runs alongside her husband Gordon Brown (Take The High Road) a theatre company Sair Feet in Scotland. Her father is a camp boss on the oil rigs. She married long time love Raffaello Degruttola on Saturday 10th May 2003.

Simone trained in drama at Edinburgh's Queen Margaret College and turned to an acting career when she was offered a film role. She started out with a tiny part in the John Gordon Sinclair-starring The Girl in the Picture, as the Girl.

One of her first performances at drama school was playing the part of Cathy in Wuthering Heights, "That was just amazing to do," Simone said in an interview for the Bad Girls book.
