Welcome to The Sims Help All Round. Now, The Sims can be quite confusing when you have only just started using the game. And if you were wondering what to do, you have come to the right place.

So, you have installed The Sims and have it up and running, now what? There should be a house on the screen with a big red arrow pointing towards it. This is the tutorial house. Click on the house to start learning how to play the game. Inside, you will meet Bob Newbie, one of many Sim characters already loaded into the game. Whilst you are playing, a little box will pop out from the top of the screen telling you where and what everything is and does. Eventually, you will get through all of these and you will then know the in's and out's of the game!!! But you have to believe me, it takes FOREVER to get through them all (it took me about 4 days!!!)

There are also 2 very important cheats you will need.

To enable cheat mode, press: Ctrl, Alt, C

A little green box at the top should appear. When it does, type in either:

rosebud

~or~

move_objects on

Then press ENTER.

Rosebud: Rosebud is very important, if you need more money, type this cheat in and you will be automatically given 1000 simoleons (this is The Sims version of money)

Move_objects on: Sometimes, your Sim can be trapped in an area they cant get out of, or some items of furniture can't be moved. So by typing in this cheat, you will be able to move your Sim or the piece of furniture you want moved!!!
