Anaza Bay Shahh impUSA has a heritage that is becoming increasingly rare...

He represents the famed Morafic x Ansata Ibn Halima cross that is acclaimed the world over, this cross is more usually found further back in pedigrees these days...

That Bay Shahh is a direct grandson of these two breed greats is very special.

It is this cross that contributes to his great strength as a sire...

 Morafic (Nazeer x Mabrouka)

When the mighty Morafic EAO was bred to the amazing mare Bint Maisa El Saghira EAO, a mare who won at halter and under saddle at National level in the US... the result was bound to be spectacular... the stallion Shaikh Al Badi became a legend in his own right, very consistently siring on his own sound type and beauty...

Bint Maisa El Saghira (Nazeer x Maisa)

Shaikh Al Badi was honoured as a world sire of significance for being the second-highest living sire of halter champions at the 1988 Egyptian Event, with 69 champion offspring... only his own son Ruminaja Ali out-ranked him on this score! He sired some 14 national winners in his lifetime and is grandsire to countless others... including most famously Ali Jamaal and The Minstril, both sons of Ruminaja Ali.

Tom McNair, the long-time manager of Gleannloch Farms noted in 1985 "Morafic, Shaikh Al Badi's sire, must be acknowledged as a sire of sires... and I really believe Shaikh is the best breeding son of Morafic - the best of the whole group.Shaikh has sired so many good horses that win in open competition, and he is also a sire of breeding stallions. That, to me, is the mark of a great sire - one that can sire stallions that can reproduce". Quoted from Arabian Horse World Quarterly, Summer 2000.

A beautifully balanced horse - near perfect in conformation!

Anaza Bay Shahh lays claim not only to a renowned sireline but also to a damline of high distinction... his dam is a breed legend also, the beautiful Bint Deenaa EAO.

Bint Deenaa is a daughter of the legend Ansata Ibn Halima EAO, a horse whose contribution to the breed and to the Egyptian gene pool cannot be understated.

His sire is the greatest of the great, Nazeer and his dam the lovely mare Halima.

Ansata Ibn Halima sired some 14 National winners, he is the grandsire of some 101 National winners! This was the stallion who brought the Egyptian horses world-wide acclaim, his get can be found the world over, all contributing the "Ibn Halima look" down though the generations.

He was probably most famous for his son, the great El Hilal but was also renowned as an exemplary sire of broodmares, of which Bint Deenaa has proven herself one of the finest.

Ansata Ibn Halima was mated to the beautiful mare Deenaa, a daughter of Sameh, a horse known for his siring abilities, his wonderful strong body and his movement. Deenaa's dam, Dahma II, was a daughter of Nazeer...

Deenaa (Sameh x Dahma II by Nazeer)

This is incredibly strong breeding and Bint Deenaa has proven this beyond any doubt... her sons include such greats as Anaza Bay Shahh, Anaza El Farid and Anaza El Nisr (both these two being 3/4 siblings to Bay Shahh as they are sired by Ruminaja Ali, the son of Shaikh Al Badi) and Ibn El Mareekh (by El Mareekh EAO)... all these sons of Bint Deenaa have made their name in Arabian circles, they are the next generation of "greats", already siring on...

BINT DEENAA (Ansata Ibn Halima x Deenaa)

It was specifically to bring the blood of Deenaa to Simeon Stud that Bay Shahh was chosen... he has proven the wisdom of this choice many times over, finding a particular "nick" with the Asfour daughters...

In summary, Anaza Bay Shahh is an intensively bred Nazeer descendant... bringing in four close-up crosses to the great progenitor.

Anaza Bay Shahh... We Love Him!

This is Bay Shahh in his late teens... a very beautiful stallion by any standard!

We love his compactness and depth of his body, he is "on the square" and beautifully proportioned. He is smooth and strong.

We love his incredibly beautiful face and his huge kind eyes... he has the most wonderful soft expression and gentle temperament.

We love his legs and feet - they are perfection and he breeds them on with great consistency.

We love how this horse, in spite of his advancing years can turn back time in a heartbeat when he moves... to witness him float and power over the earth at liberty is a sight you just cannot forget!
