Downloading and Installing

The Sims 3

To download an item of clothing, browse down the different categories and through the recolours for each piece of clothing to find one you want to download. Click on the picture of the recolour and save it somewhere on your computer. Use WinRar to extract the files from the compressed folder, and move or copy them to your Downloads folder. (...My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads). Then open up The Sims 3 Launcher and intall them via the Downloads section. (Note: Some clothing recolours displayed on the downloads pages will not have download links. This is because I have not finished creating the recolour for all ages the piece of clothing is available for, and therefore not uploaded it yet. Eventually I will have done this for all items of clothing, and you can download whatever you want, but for the meantime, these images are only there for construction and organisation purposes.

The Sims 2

To download a file, just click the green Download link below your selected download and save it somewhere on your computer. All downloads are now in .rar format, and require WinRar to open them. If you do not have it, you can download a free trial here. (Funnily enough, you can still use the program even after your trial has expired.)

To install any of the Clothes, Hair, Facial Hair, or Mods on this website after downloading them, copy or extract all the files out of the WinRAR Archive folder and into your downloads folder found in "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads". If there is no downloads folder, simply create a new folder and name it "Downloads", then copy the files into there.
If the hair you're downloading requires a mesh, you must download it from the page link provided and install it the same way as the recolours in order for the recolours to show up properly.

To install any of the Lots or Objects on this website after download them, copy or extract the SIMS2PACK file out of the WinRar Archive folder and into another folder or your desktop. Then double click on the SIMS2PACK file, and click install on the window that comes up. The Object or Lot should then be in your game. Make sure that you have all the Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs required to play the lot. You can find the required games info for each lot by going to the More Info... section for each one.

To install any of the Pets from this website, extract the files out of the WinRAR Archive folder. If the files included are .package files, move them to "My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\PetBreeds". Ortherwise, if the file is a .Sims2Pack file, extract it from the WinRar folder, double click on the file and install it to your game.

Information, Policy, and Credits

If a Lot requires certain Expansion Packs to work properly, you will find the icon for the required Expansion Packs in the "More Info..." section for the Lot you are downloading.

(Note: Stuff Packs are not nescessary to play the Lot, but if walls, floors, and objects from a Stuff Pack you don't have will not show up on the Lot. Expansion Packs, however, will crash your game if they are required and you do not have them installed. The Mansion and Garden Stuff Pack acts as an Expansion Pack, so any lot which requires it to be installed, you will actually need to have it installed to use.)

All the Pets downloadable from this site will only require the Pets Expansion Pack to work. Hair, Clothes, etc. however, may require an Expansion or Stuff pack to show up if they used an outfit, hair, etc. from one of the Pack
