Pet Stories: Midnight Masquerade Walkthrough Guide

	1: Greet Boss Stephen’s boss, Julianne is at the door. Click on her and select “Greet Julianne”.
	2: Change Into Formal Stephen has forgotten about his cousin’s wedding, so he’d better get changed before heading down to the chapel. Click on the dresser in Stephen’s bedroom and select “Change Into…” then “Formal”.
	3: Go to Wedding Stephen needs to get to the chapel as soon as possible. Click on the phone in the Study Room and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “A Little Salmon Wedding Chapel”, and confirm.
	4: Apologize to Celeste Stephen has missed his cousins wedding, and needs to make an apology. Click on Celeste and select “Apologize”.
	5: Grab a Bite James is at the buffet table. Stephen should talk to him whilst having something to eat. Click on the buffet table and select “Grab a Plate…” then select one of the three foods available.
	6: Greet Gordon There’s something creepy about this Gordon, but it doesn’t hurt to be polite. Click on Gordon and select “Greet Gordon Fletching”.
	7: Dance with Rachel Rachel looks quite friendly. Stephen thinks a dance with her would be nice. Stand near the stereo and click on Rachel. Select “Call Over”, then when she is standing near the stereo with Stephen, click on her and select “Dance Together”. If the stereo hasn’t been turned on already, click on it and select “Turn On”, then follow the steps above.
	8: Ask Rachel Out Stephen liked dancing with Rachel and would like to do it again sometime. Click on Rachel and select “Ask…” then “On Date”.
	9: Go Home After the wedding and agreeing to look after his cousin’s cat whilst she’s on her honeymoon, Stephen decides it’s time to go home. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When it asks you “Where to?”, click on “Home”.
	10: Set Up Aqaurium and Stock it with Fish Stephen’s new aquarium has been delivered, and he wants to set it up. Go into Stephen’s inventory, take out the aquarium, and place it somewhere in Stephen’s house. Now exit Stephen’s inventory, click on the aquarium, and select “Restock”.
	11: Read Paper Stephen wants to catch up with the latest news. Click on the newspaper which was delivered in the morning and select “Read”.
	12: Greet Erin Celeste’s friend, Erin has come to drop off Diva. Click on Erin and select “Greet Erin Davis”.
	13: Charm Erin Stephen thinks Celeste’s friend is really cute, and wants to flirt with her. Click on Erin and select “Flirt…” then “Charm”.
	14: Take Cat Stephen needs to tell Diva that he’s going to be looking after her. Click on Diva and select “Take Care of Diva”.
	15: Make Espresso Erin wouldn’t mind having a cup of espresso with Stephen. Click on the espresso machine and select “Serve Espresso”.
	16: Scold Diva Diva is scratching Stephen’s favourite couch and needs to be punished. Click on Diva and select “Scold for…” then “Destroying the Furniture”.
	17: Place Food Dish Cat’s need to be fed, and perhaps some food will calm Diva down. Go into Stephen’s inventory, take out the food dish Erin just gave you, and place it somewhere in Stephen’s house. Now exit Stephen’s inventory, click on the food dish, and select “Fill Bowl”.
	18: Shoo Diva Diva shouldn’t be on the furniture. Click on Diva and select “Shoo Pet”.
	19: Clean Up Puddle Diva’s had a little accident in Stephen’s kitchen. Click on the puddle and select “Mop Up”.
	20: Go to Pet Store Stephen realizes that he will need to buy some more supplies for Diva. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Mesa Flats Pet Supply” and confirm.
	21: Buy a Litter Box Stephen has spotted a cat litter box on the counter. Click on the litter box and select “Buy Litter Box”.
	22: Stroke Diva Stephen is proud of Diva embarrassing Gordon and thinks she deserves a stroke. Click on Diva and select “Give Love…” then “Stroke”.
	23: Go Home It’s time for Stephen and Diva to go home and try out the new litter box. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	24: Watch TV with James It’s been a while since Stephen watched TV with James. Click on the TV and select “Watch”. Then click on James and select “Ask to Join”.
	25: Check Email Stephen should check his email to see if anyone is trying to get in touch with him. Click on the computer in Stephen’s study and select “Check Email”.
	26: Place the Cat Condo and the Litter Box so Diva can Use Them Stephen should let Diva use her new litter box and cat condo. Go into Stephen’s inventory and take out both the Cat Condo and the Litter Box and place them somewhere in the house.
	27: Work Out Stephen decides working out might help him feel better. Click on the TV and select “Work Out”.
	28: Order an Exercise Machine Online The fitness video isn’t quite working. Stephen decides to stick with the old exercise machines, but he first must buy one. Click on the computer in Stephen’s study and select “Order Bench Press”.
	29: Invite Rachel Out Stephen wants to ask Rachel out again for a dance. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Sim”. When Stephen’s Personal Phonebook appears, click on Rachel’s portrait and confirm.
	30: Go to Club Z It’s about time for Stephen to set off to Club Z to meet Rachel. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Club Z” and confirm.
	31: Compliment Rachel Rachel looks really nice tonight, and Stephen should tell her that. Click on Rachel and select “Compliment”.
	32: Have a Seat Stephen would like to sit down and relax before hitting the dance floor. Click on a couch and select “Sit”. Then click on Rachel and select “Invite to Join”.
	33: Dance with Rachel It’s time for Stephen to dance with Rachel. Stand on the dance floor near the DJ booth, then click on Rachel and select “Call Over”. When Rachel joins Stephen on the dance floor click on her and select “Dance Together”.
	34: Hit On Rachel Rachel is a very good dancer. Stephen wants to try taking it a bit further. Click on Rachel and select “Flirt…” then “Hit On”.
	35: Have a Drink Stephen’s thirsty for a drink. Click on the Bar and select “Order Drink…” and then either “Blended” or “Poured”.
	36: Go Home Gordon has come and interfered with Stephen and Rachel again, so Stephen decides it’s time to go home. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	37: Play with Diva Before Stephen sets off to work on the food for the masquerade he’d better give Diva some attention. Click on Diva and select “Play…” then either one of the three options.
	38: Teach Diva to Roll Over Stephen wants to teach Diva a trick. Click on Diva and select “Teach Command…” then “Roll Over”. Wait for the bar above Diva’s head to reach the top.
	39: Chase Off Dog A dog has appeared and Stephen needs to chase him off before he starts bothering Diva. Click on Buster Davis and select “Chase Off”.
	40: Ask Erin Out Stephen wants to ask Erin out on a date to Chez Prix. Click on Erin and select “Ask…” then “Ask on Date”.
	41: Invite Erin to Chez Prix Stephen should call Erin and see if she’s ready to go to Chez Prix. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Transportation”. On the Transportation Phonebook pop-up window, choose “Invite a Sim to a Community Lot” and confirm. When Stephen’s Personal Phonebook appears, click on Erin’s portrait and confirm. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and the pop-up window asking “Where would you like to go?” appears, choose “Chez Prix” and confirm.
	42: Let's Eat Stephen wants to sit down with Erin and order something to eat. Click on the restaurant podium and select “Be Seated”. When you’ve been given a seat and the server comes to the table, click on the server and select “Order for All” then choose a food to eat.
	43: Steal a Bite Erin’s food looks tasty and Stephen wants a bite. Click on Erin and select “Play…” then “Steal a Bite”.
	44: Take Photos in Photo Booth They might not look good after that, but Erin thinks a souvenir would be good. Click on the photo booth and select “Get In”. Now click on Erin and select “Ask Erin To Join”. Finally, click on the photo booth and select “Take Picture…” then either one of the options.
	45: Go Home Stephen needs some rest after all that. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi” or “Pay Dining Bill and Leave” depending on whether you’ve already paid for the meal or not. When you’re asked “Where to?”, click on “Home”.
	46: Clean the Kitchen Stephen needs to clean the kitchen before making a start to the masquerade food. Click on all the dirty counters, the cooker and the sink and select “Clean” for each one.
	46.1: Please Wait In order to receive the next goal Stephen must reach Cooking Skill 7. Click on the bookcase and select “Study…” then “Cooking”. Wait for the bar above Stephen’s head to reach the top.
	47: Prepare Salad Stephen can now prepare the salad for the masquerade. Click on the fridge and select “Prepare Salad”.
	48: Go to Store Diva’s ate the salad, and Stephen has no more ingredients to make another salad, so he will have to go to the store to get some groceries. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Six Points Plaza” and confirm.
	49: Buy More Groceries Stephen needs to buy more groceries so he can make another salad. Click on a produce display and select “Buy”.
	50: Talk to Erin Stephen should ask Erin how she’s feeling. Click on Erin and select “Talk…” then “Chat”.
	51: Hug Erin It was sweet of Erin to make some soup for Stephen, so he would like to give her a hug in return. Click on Erin and select “Hug…” then “Friendly”.
	52: Show Erin a Cat Trick Stephen wants to impress Erin by getting Diva to roll over. Click on Diva and select “Command…” then “Roll Over”.
	53: Ask Erin to Masquerade Stephen thinks Erin is the one to ask to the masquerade. Click on Erin and select “Ask…” then “To the Masquerade”.
	54: Go Home Stephen doesn’t have time to think about Gordon and Erin right now, he’s got the salad to make again. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	55: Eat Soup Stephen has spotted Erin’s soup on the counter, and can’t wait to dig in. Click on the soup and select “Eat”.
	56: Set Up Scratching Post Diva’s been sent a scratching post from Celeste. Go into Stephen’s inventory, take out the scratching post, and place it somewhere in Stephen’s house.
	57: Prepare Salad It’s time to make another salad. Click on the fridge and select “Prepare Salad”.
	57.1: Please Wait Stephen will need a Cooking Skill of 10 in order to create the next dish for the masquerade. Click on the bookcase and select “Study…” then “Cooking”. Wait for the bar above Stephen’s head to reach the top.
	58: Prepare Lobster Dish Stephen can now make the next dish for the masquerade. Click on the fridge and select “Prepare Lobster”.
	59: Invite James Over It’s been a while since Stephen has hung out with James. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Sim”. When Stephen’s personal phonebook appears click on James’s portrait and confirm. On the “Call Sim Options” window, choose “Invite Over” and confirm.
	60: Chat with James James has arrived and Stephen wants to talk to him. Click on James and select “Talk…” then “Chat”.
	61: Go to Flat Hat Bar James would rather talk to Stephen at the Flat Hat Bar. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose Stephen. When the Taxi arrives and you’re asked “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Flat Hat Bar” and confirm.
	62: Play Cards Stephen is ready to play cards. Click on the card table and select “Play”.
	63: Invite Rachel to Play Rachel has just appeared and Stephen wants to ask her to play cards with him. Click on her and select “Ask to Join”.
	64: Dance with Rachel Rachel wants to dance with Stephen. Click on the jukebox and select “Turn On” if it isn’t already on. Now click on the floor near the jukebox and select “Go Here”. Now Click on Rachel and select “Call Over”. And finally, when Rachel joins Stephen on the dance floor click on her and select “Dance Together”.
	65: Fight Gordon Gordon can never let Stephen have a good time, so it’s time to show him what Stephen’s made of. Click on Gordon and select “Fight…” then “Attack”.
	66: Go Home Stephen finally managed to win Rachel over from Gordon, but it’s time to go home. Click on the phone and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	67: Play with the Radio Controlled Cat Attractor Celeste has ordered another toy for Diva. Go into Stephen’s inventory, take out the radio controlled mouse and place it somewhere in Stephen’s house. Now exit Stephen’s inventory, click on the radio controlled mouse and select “Play With”.
	68: Go to Club Z with Rachel Rachel has told Stephen to come to Club Z with her and have some fun. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Multiple Sims”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Club Z” and confirm.
	69: Sing a Duet with Rachel There’s a karaoke machine outside, and Rachel wants to sing with Stephen. Click on the karaoke machine and select “Sing with…” then “Rachel”. Wait for their duet to finish.
	70: Romantic Kiss Rachel Perhaps giving Rachel a big romantic kiss will make Gordon leave them alone. Click on Rachel and select “Kiss…” then “Romantic”.
	71: Go Home That didn’t go to well, and it wasn’t Gordon who caused it this time. It’s time to go home and see Diva. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	72: Call Erin Stephen wants to make sure Erin is OK after last night. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Sim”. When Stephen’s Personal Phonebook appears click on Erin’s portrait and confirm.
	73: Go to Sal's Bratwurst and Culture Stephen wants to take Erin to his old friend’s restaurant. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Sal’s Bratwurst and Culture” and confirm.
	74: Introduce Sal and Erin Stephen thinks his old friend, Sal should meet Erin. Click on Erin and select “Introduce to Sal”.
	75: Be Seated Stephen thinks it would be a good idea to drop the conversation and get a seat. Click on the host podium and select “Be Seated”.
	75.1: Please Wait To receive you next goal you must order some food. Click on the server and select “Order” if he or she isn’t already at your table, then click on them again and select “Order for All” and choose something to eat.
	76: Feed a Bite Stephen stole a bite of Erin’s food last time, so it’s time to give her a bite of his food. Click on Erin and select “Flirt…” then “Feed a Bite”.
	77: Toast To good friends and good food. Click on Erin and select “Entertain…” then “Toast”.
	78: Slow Dance Stephen wants to dance with Erin. Click on Erin and select “Slow Dance”. If the option is not available you may have to return home without saving and coming back again. You will have to go through all the goals completed at the restaurant again. This is most likely a bug and shouldn’t happen very often.
	79: Go Home Another date has ended in pieces, and it’s time for Stephen to go home. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi” or “Pay Dining Bill and Leave”, depending on whether you’ve already paid for the meal or not. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	80: Place Bougainvillea Stephen has received a bougainvillea plant from Sal and wants to hang it up. Go into Stephen’s inventory, take out the bougainvillea plant, and place it somewhere in his house.
	81: Meet Rachel at Costume Shop Rachel has phoned Stephen to ask him to help her pick a costume for the masquerade. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Six Points Plaza” and confirm.
	82: Pick Rachel's Costume Rachel is in the changing room and wants your opinion on which mask to wear. Click on Rachel and select either “Pick Leopard Mask” or “Pick Rainbow Mask”. You may need to click “More…” to see these options in the pie-menu.
	83: Buy Roses Erin has appeared and Stephen would like to buy her some roses to apologize for last night. Click on the vase of roses on the counter and select “Buy Roses”.
	84: Give Erin Roses Stephen can’t wait to see the look on Erin’s face when he gives her the roses. Click on Erin and select “Give Roses”.
	85: Apologize to Erin Stephen also wants to apologize to Erin for the previous night. Click on Erin and select “Apologize”.
	86: Chat with James Stephen should find out more about Gordon. Click on James and select “Talk…” then “Chat”.
	87: Go Home Stephen needs to get home and start on the ice sculpture for the masquerade. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	88: Create Ice Sculpture Stephen has received a table to create the Ice Sculpture on. Go into Stephen’s inventory and take out the ice crafting table. Place it somewhere in Stephen’s house. Now exit Stephen’s inventory, click on the crafting table, and select “Make Sculpture”.
	89: Make a Plan Stephen has finished everything for the masquerade, but he still needs to think of a way to stop Gordon. Click on the bookcase and select “Make a Plan”.
	90: Call Rachel It’s time to go to the masquerade and Stephen needs to call Rachel to see if she’s ready to go. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Sim”. When Stephen’s Personal Phonebook appears click on Rachel’s portrait and confirm.
	91: Put on a Mask Rachel has delivered a bunch of masks for Stephen to choose from. Click on the bathroom mirror and select “Change Appearance”. On the Change Appearance window, click the “Glasses and Masks” tab. Choose a mask and confirm.
	92: Go to the Masquerade Stephen needs to go to the masquerade. Click on the phone and select “Call…” then “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Who needs a ride?”, choose “Stephen”. When the taxi arrives and a window pops up asking “Where would you like to go?”, choose “Amber Hall” and confirm.
	93: Dance There’s music playing and it’s time for Stephen and Rachel have a dance. Click on Rachel and select “Slow Dance”.
	94: Chat with Erin Rachel has agreed to have just one dance with Gordon which means Stephen can go and talk to Erin. Click on Erin and select “Talk…” then “Chat”.
	95: Change into Gordon's Costume Gordon has taken off his costume to play on the bass. Click on Gordon’s hat which can be found on a table and select “Put On”.
	96: Beguile Henchmen Let’s see if Gordon’s henchman falls for the disguise. Click on Anthony Zilch who can be found on the top floor and select “Beguile”.
	97: Change Back Stephen has found out who Gordon really is, but he needs to take of Gordon’s costume before he finishes playing the bass. Click on any table downstairs and select “Remove Mask”.
	98: Tell Secret to James Stephen needs to tell James what he’s learnt about Gordon. Click on James and select “Talk…” then “Tell Secret”.
	99: Tackle Gordon Gordon needs to be tackled before he escapes. Click on Gordon and select “Tackle”.
	100: Stroke Diva Diva stopped Gordon’s thug, and Stephen wants to show her his affections. Click on Diva and select “Give Love…” then “Stroke”.
	101: Pick Who You Love It’s the moment of truth. Who will be Stephen’s Queen? Erin or Rachel? Your Choice. Click on either Erin or Rachel and select “Choose”. If you can’t choose, try thinking which girl has been most loyal to Stephen.
	102: Go Home After picking his Queen, Stephen can’t wait to get back home. Click on the phone box and select “Call Taxi”. When you’re asked “Where to?”, choose “Home”.
	103: Invite Erin/Rachel to Move In Stephen has chose his Queen and he’s ready to start his future. Click on Stephen’s Queen and select “Propose…” then “Move In”. Perhaps you Stephen could “Gussy Up” in the mirror before the proposal.
	104: Place "Gift" Your Queen has brought you a present to say how happy she is about moving in. Go into Stephen’s inventory and take out the present from Stephen’s Masquerade Queen. Place it somewhere in Stephen’s house. If Erin was your Queen you will have a new cooker. If Rachel was your Queen you will have a new hot tub.
