Im A Trophy LegacyTwo

"Twice" is our new addition to our breeding program. Twice is a 2001 palomino homozygous tobiano stallion. Twice has done really well for himself in Nevada and is leaving behind some really happy costumers. His breeding is phenomenal and he will cross really well with our mares. He will  be used for breeding till end of June then he will be put back into training.

Twice is the ONLY breeding stallion off of Trophys Legend, and he is the only foal in Canada off of Trophys Legend. Trophys Legend was only used for two seasons until his untimely death from colic. Twice was bred by Shawna & Scott Hobson Located in the Columbia Basin of Washington State, Hobson. They have been specializing in Homozygous Tobiano Paint Horses for 34 years. Their Senior Stallion, Spooks Trophy Boy (Twice’s Grand Sire), produced the first female homozygous horse in the World to be documented by the Portland State Univ. and they became one of the founders in producing the "Homozygous Horse".

“Our Offspring are known for conformation, disposition, color pattern, and the athletic ability to do whatever you want in the way of performance.  We have some of the nicest halter, pleasure, reining, English, working cowhorse and endurance horses ever produced in today's Paint Horse World.  Our horses are sought after because of their size, bone structure, beautiful heads and their ability to learn quickly.  Most of our Foals reach 16 hands by the time they are 2 years old.”

                                                                                                Shawna Hobson

I would like to thank Dawn Hoffmann for letting us purchase him this spring. We are very excited about is future here at Silvertip Paint & Quarter Horses.

Twice's breeding fee is by private treaty

Van Bar Titan

"Snickers" is the oldest stallion we own (1994), he has sired babies with great minds, conformation, and color. He produces large muscular bodies and baby doll heads. Even though he doesn't have much color, he carries the sabino gene. Thus producing colored prospects. His bloodlines include many great quarter horses, like Poco Bueno, Sugar Bars, Three Bars, and Triples Image. breeding fee is by private treaty

Clayboys Pepper Jack

2003 sabino/overo "Pepper" is not only fast learner he also very pleasent to work with and around. His sire Clayboy was a champion heading & heeling horse. We are very excited about Pepper, expect to see him in the show ring under saddle this year. UPDATE Due to unforeseen circumstances Pepper was in training for a short time. We are very happy to have him back home on the ranch, as he was almost stolen from us.

Renos Hydro Chief

"Duke" (1999)is an excellent horse to ride and work with. He is your typical ranch style horse with a good wither, solid bone, and great hooves. He can be ridden all day and never miss a stride, or refuse to give you what you ask of him. His first foal crop was 100% color and fillies. His foals are great to work with and learn fast. Duke's bloodlines include Poco Bueno, Silver King, Old Tom Cat, and Leo. Duke has been gelded and is back in training with Garth Hilstorm, we are planning on making him into a rope'n horse.UPDATE Duke is doing very well as a working rope/ranch horse at the 7 Cross Ranch Norm and Karen Sterzer. Duke was gelded this spring he will be a great asset to our riding program.

MJ Dixons Sonnydee

"Hoss" is a super stallion to handle and work with. He has an exceptional disposition, he has been shown and ridden. His foals are great to work with, fast learners and no flight. nbsp;Hoss's breeding includes Sonny Dee Bar, Grandson of Mardelle Dixon, Eddie, Sprocket, and Blue Gold. Hoss is standing in Alberta at Safire Paint & Quarter Horses. For more info on breeding to this stallion and purchasing new foals off of him and some really nice mares, please go to www.safirepaintsandquarters.com Hoss is being offered for sale @ $3000 cnd

Titans Triple Chrome

2003 Sorrel Overo

“Chrome” will be in the show ring for 2006. He will be broke to ride and most likely sold. He is great to work around and is eager to please, no spook on this one. He is truly amazing, one of a kind. His sire is Van Bar Titan and his dam is MS Sunflower Susie.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Chrome had no work put on him.  He too was almost stolen and exported to the United States with out our knowledge. UPDATE Chrome will be used on the 7 Cross Ranch this year he will be started with working cattle.  It was a hard decision to make but we have decided to sell Chrome priced at $3500

Summer picture is 2 year old pic it was taken after we got him back, he was a bit on the slender side but as you can see by early spring  (2008) he started to fill out much more!
