We have been previously nominated for the show NAMHSA of the year!
"Your shows are the fairest out there... NO favorites played. I am just starting into the hobby and I have attened someothers, and the Michigan bunch seems to be the most hospitable bunch I have encountered as well as the most fun!"
"PLEASE tell me when you are having your next show!!!"
"I learned a lot from attending your show!"
FAQ: Is this an Express Show?
An Express Show is MULTIPLE shows at one location.
This is ONE show at one location.
We very much enjoyed the Express Show last spring- however- life changes and the Silver Spurs no longer have the time nor the huge commitment of time to donate to a show of that magnitude- and trust us when we say we believe it rivaled NAN in getting it together!
SO- what we are doing is taking the more manageable elements which we all enjoyed and bring them back to the Monroe County Fair Grounds... and back to the nice bathrooms just off the main room AND heat and air conditioning!
YES- there are TEN divisions with a total of 350 classes (seven per division)! So you can see that this is still a large show! Well worth the gas to get to! And this year it is in MAY- moved way away from any possible SNOW STORM that we encountered during the Express Show.
YES- all of the horses load together for each division, but there will only be ONE judge for halter and possibly ONE judge for collectibility/finish... so enivitably, the show is double judged at most (vs. three or more as the Express Show had.)
We are accepting 30 entries.
