That's What She Said: This short, humourous piece was inspired by a picture I saw of an anime girl dressed as red ridding hood and a wolf boy. There's no real point to it and it also pokes fun at other fairy tales. It's quick, witty, and brings a smile to my face whenever I read it.
Nice Girl: This is an exploration into the mind of a rather twisted girl. the basic idea is similar to that og He Won't, but is written in a simple format with the style of repetitive sentences. It is what the relationship is, who she is, who he is, and what she wants their relationship tp be like.
Love in a Sentence: This is another journal style piece, written in simple sentences describing what a girl thinks about her crush and gives various hints at his feelings too. this really just popped out one night when I was having trouble sleeping.
Just Friends: Written about the budding relationship between my ex-boyfriend and I. Yeah, it budded until it died. Oh, well. It was fun while it lasted. This piece I did right after meeting him. There really isn't much too it and it kept me from forgetting who we were. It's good, if not a bit nostalgic.
Fire and Ice: I don't really know what brought on this one...the thought was stuck in my head after seeing a painting one of my friends did. It was a wave of fire crashing into a wall of water and in the middle were two people embracing. I do feel that there could be more to this, though. I have many qualms on this piece but do feel that it is adequate as is.
My Favorite: I enjoyed writing this. It's nothing like I usually write and I'd love to try writing deeper things like this. It just barely dipped into half-horror, which is just like what I was looking for. I was inspired after watching a documentary on the underground vampire community, that and my own love for taboo things drove me to embody this fantasy. I admit it, it's a fantasy to drink blood.
She's More: This was actually supposed to be a complex, chaptered story. But, with my constant brainstorming, it was left for the dust bin. I saved it a while back and decided it was good as is. I still deliberate on making it a two-shot or continuing with the original plot.
He Won't: This is the first of a newly developed icon theme. the theme is: I Can Honestly Say That I've Never Ever Felt This Way. With my obsession for icons, it was only fitting that I create a writing theme from it. The story, however, was not developed because of an icon. This story originated when one of my friends decided to confess to me right after breaking up with my best friend. Though I did like him too, I turned him down and vented my emotions into this story.
Post-It Notes buried In My Closet: this is kind of a sequel to my first published story. Though there is actually two chapters they are seperate entities. Just about the same person.
Tell Her This: This is my first ever attempt at a song fic, and also the second installment of the icon theme: You're The Best Thing That's Happened To Me. I wrote this purely because of the song and I could see a scene happening like this in my head. The 'movie' was playing in my head over and over along with the song as I wrote this. I really enjoy the innocence in it and it is also my first try at working with characters that were not teenagers.
The Dress, Always: This was my first story ever completed. It was also a complete accident. See, I was trying to write from a child's point of view for a new romance story and eventually became frustrated and placed the document in my 'Disentitled' folder. Why not just the Recycling Bin? I can't throw away anything I write, it kills me. So, I went back to the document a few months later. I wrote for roughly thirteen hours. Continuously writing, re-writing, editing and printing for someone else to edit. I never noticed that It started with two children meeting and then two completely different characters, with different names and personalities, began another paragraph later. This was also the first story I allowed my friends and peers to see, it was welcome warmly and referred to fictionpress.com. I now frequent that site to a point of terror. This story is my baby.
Post-It Notes Delivered In Secret: This is my first actual thing posted to fictionpress.com. Really, it was intended as a personal journal but on impulse I put it up and got great reviews and support. Originally it was five chapters long, each chapter a different entry. But after I took it down, I combined them all into one chapter. It's borderline poetry I've been told. Basically, a story of a girl's first crush in high school and all the drama that goes with it.
Supernatural
Death's Message: This story was an assignment from my english teacher. Write a memoir she says, make it emotional she says. So I did. Needless to say, she cried and showed it to other English teachers who now claim I'm more than a teaching prodigy, I'm a born to be writer. I laughed at them. This memoir is of my grandfather dying. All events are true, none are embellished. They think I'm good at writing, that I have magnificent voice skills. I just think I'm good at spinning words. This story is dear to me and will probably be the only one I will never show my family.
Young Adult
My Best Friend Jenny: I wrote this completely out of anger. Those who have read it claim jealousy was the key, but that wasn't the case. I have no pretty words for this piece and often regret writing it. But I did, and so I offer no apologies. I do not feel this all the time, just when she is not herself.
One-shots
These are all the oneshots I have written. There are more, but have yet to be posted on fictionpress, so are not posted here.
