Hello! I'm the webmistress of this site, and am known as SilvernFalcon. Welcome to Hidden Writings.

This is a site I created for all second person stories and CYOAs. Stories written in second person are written as though from your point of view. Second person include paragraphs like the following:

Ex. 1
You narrow your eyes at the young brunette, glaring. You had known that Seto Kaiba was- and is- a jerk, but you've never expected to meet him and get a first-hand taste of his rudeness. But alas, you have... just a moment ago. [Written by SilvernFalcon]

Ex. 2
"I have my reasons. May we move on?" you answered, hoping the elder man failed to notice the hint of nervousness. It just was another little secret Akuma made you hide. [Written by Hikari no Mari/Mariko Yamaki; excerpt from Be My Wings]

Now, for those of you who do not know what CYOAs are, they're Choose Your Own Adventure stories. In other words, they are stories in which you decide the outcome, and they have choices. Choose Your Own Adventure stories fall into the second person story category, but not necessarily vice versa; CYOAs skip from one chapter to another with some in between, but some second person stories are linear. These types of stories are called reader-insertions or insert-you stories. Keep in mind that they are not called self-insertions; self-insertions are stories in which the author inserts him or herself into their story.

Anyway, Hidden Writings supports CYOAs and insert-reader stories of any category, be they of Inuyasha, Yu-Gi-Oh, Harry Potter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Rurouni Kenshin, or something else. However, there are a few rules.

Submitting a Story & Writing a Bio
First off, I created this site purely for readers and writers to enjoy CYOAs and any and all second-person stories. So why not make this site as big as possible? The more writers and the more variety, the better. So if you're a writer of a CYOA or reader-insert and want it to be posted here, please e-mail me at silvernfalcon@yahoo.com, or drop me a note by my either one of my AIM screen names, SilvernFalcon or ReadySteadyENVY. Please follow the following rules, and submit information about the story in the format shown.

Rules For Submitting a Story:

1. Absolutely no stories with stolen ideas!
2. No one-liners. (A one-liner has only a few- or usually one, as the name implies- sentences per chapter.)
3. You must include a disclaimer of some sort in your story.
4. Please, check your spelling and grammar. It will save me a lot of time and trouble and makes life easier.

Category: (Please specify whether it is an anime, game, book, etc., as well as the fandom.)
Genre: (You may have up to three different genres.)
Rating: (Please rate your CYOA appropriately. I accept CYOAs of any rating, all the way through NC-17. If you have a highly descriptive lemon scene, it's NC-17.)
Pairing, if any:
Summary:
Number of Chapters E-mailed:
Complete?: (This asks if the story is finished; yes or no?)
Chapter Titles: (One-shots don't require any chapter title. For a fic, you may simply go by the number of the chapter as its title.)
Chapter Number: Chapter Title
(Put the chapter here. You must have a disclaimer at the beginning or at the end of the chapter. You may include the chapter name right under the title, and the summary after that. I would prefer for the story to not be sent as an attachment.)
