Silverlodge Kennels | White Shepherd Breeders

Russell & I have always loved animals and have always had dogs, cats, & horses in our lives for many years now. About 10 years ago by chance, I found out that Russell loved White Shepherds. I tried to get one for his 40th birthday but could not find any. About a year after my attempts to find a white, we were on our way home when we spotted one in the back of a Ute, so we followed the Ute until it stopped. We spoke with the gentleman with the white only to learn that he had a female and was going to mate his dogs as soon as the bitch came in heat. So, we put an order in for a white female. We also where lucky enough to have pick of the litter, and that's how we got "Honey" (Bronicocar Centra Baloo).

Approximately two years after that, we started looking for a male. By chance we then came across one in the trading post. We spoke to the owner who was having second thoughts about getting rid of the male they had. Due to some unforseen circumstance she then had to get a home for the male and that's how we got "Kiama" (Bayein Butch). A year later we mated Honey & Kiama and Honey became proud breeders of 9 lovely puppies (1 female & 8 males). We decided to keep 2 of the males, and that's how Silverlodge Kennels started.

Silverlodge is also the stud prefix that I use with all of my horses as well, so it has been around for a while and it was choice by me in memories of my first horse who was named Silver. All of our animals mean a great deal to us as any one who knows us will tell you...
