Exactly one thousand years ago, there was a tragic romance between Serenity, princess of the moon, and Endymion, prince of the Earth. Unfortunatly, their love was forbidden because of the rivalry and hatred between the people of the moon and the people of the Earth. The Earth was jealous of the Moon Kingdom's people, who could live to be one thousand years old. The Moon was jealous of the Earth for their large population and bravery.

Metallia convinced the people of the Earth to turn against the Moon, steal the Silver Imperium Crystal, and gain the Moon's power. Prince Endymion tried to warn Serenity, but he was far to late, for Mettali and her minions had already attacked.

Mettalia, wanting to be the queen of the Earth and the Moon, asked Endymion if he wanted to marry her, but Endymion's love remained with Serenity, and he said no. Because of his refusal, Metallia attacked Serenity and tried to kill her. Endymion blocked the attack and died with a sword through him. Out of grief, Serenity forged a sword of stone, with the Silver Crystal imbeded in it. Shortly after, Serenity killed herself.

The queen Serenity, Princess Serenity's mother, was so distraut by this that she sealed Mettalia away, using the Silver Crystal for this task. As the Silver Crystal follows the bearer's heart, the spell wasn't placed properly due to the fact that Serenity was distraut. The people of the moon were sent to the Earth safely, Serenity's and Endymion's dead bodies having been reborn.

*BACK TO THE FUTURE*

When Darien met Serena, they both wanted nothing to do with each other. Darien called her names such as lazy, meatball head, and stupid. And when Serena became Sailor Moon and Darien became Tuxedo Mask, they didn't know each other's identities.

As her scoutes were found, both she and Tuxedo Mask were taken to a tower and imprisoned. Zoisite promptly launched an attack on them. Zoisite knew that Darien was Tuxedo Mask, but was clueless to the fact that Serena was Sailor Moon. In an elavator ride to the top of a tower Darien explained that he needed the Silver Crystal to regain his memories. As they were abruptly interupted by fireballs, Serena confessed that she was Sailor Moon.

Using her powers, she and Darien escaped to the top of the tower. Zoisite told Serena that Darien was Tuxedo Mask.When Serena turned, Darien transformed to Tuxedo Mask. When Tuxedo told her to leave, she refused, wanting to help. Zoisite took advantage of the time, and attacked Darien with a single shard of glass. It pierced through his abdomen and lungs.

Crying, Serena knelt beside his dying body. The Silver Crystal appeared and she transformed to Princess Serenity. This led up to her telling the stroy of their previous life together.

Zoisite leaves with Darien in hand and takes him to Mettalia to be brainwashed. She turns Darien against Serena and the others. But, Darien's love breaks through the bonds of Mettalia's curse, so he doesn't kill them like he was told to do.

As soon as that happens, he finally becomes completely brainwashed and then the Scouts must battle him.He attacked several times, but Serena refused to fight him. He was about to deliver a final strike, but Serena took out the Moon Locket and he reached out a hand, touched it, and was healed.

Series R:

At first, things are great, but then a mysterious girl named Rini appears. She demands that Sailor Moon hand over the Silver Imperium Crystal. When Darien is around Rini, he has strange feelings. Then, he has dreams telling him that if he stays with Serena and they get married, she will die. Although Darien doesn't tell her about the dream, he wants to. He tells her that he doesn't love her anymore. Although he says this harshly, he doesn't mean it.

Then, Serena starts having dreams like his, but unlike him, she talks with him about it. They find that it's really a set-up, and go to Crystal Tokyo with Rini. They find that they are the rulers of Crystal Tokyo and that Rini is their future daughter.

Series S:

Serena constantly tries to get Michelle out of thinking that Darien would date her. When the Silver Crystal stops working, Darien and Serena's love for each other restores it's power.

Series Super S:

Their relationship is just like a normal teenage couple.

Series Stars:

Darien dies in the beginning, but there's no romance in the season except when Darien gave Serena the engagement ring.

Luna doesn't exactly show her love for Artemis. But you can tell they love each other. Artemis on the other hand, shows affection for her in every way he can. I'm a big reader of Sailor Moon fan-fics and I sometimes get stories of Artemis' and Luna's love. (I hate hentai and stories with even the mention of it unless it means pervert. So there is nothing like sex of Luna and Artemis in those stories.) They love each other and they don't know that in fact Diana is their daughter. So when Artemis comes home with her, Luna goes crazy.

I know this is weird, but that pretty girl Michiru aka Michelle and that cross-dresser Haruka aka Amara, are in love. They are lesbian and they love each other. On the dub, they aren't because DIC thinks that it is wrong to be on the screen. All the same they are girlfriend, and, well, girlfriend. I think the only reason Haruka acts like a guy is so that they don't draw attention to themselves. She is right to do that, even though the Bible says it is wrong to love a member of the same sex as yourself. The reason why she is right to do that is because she is protecting her loved one from being shunned as a wacko because she is lesbian.

You can't tell that these two love each other. On the dub, Pegasus has a much deeper voice and sounds like a man. He is hot if I do say so myself. (But tell me who looks best, Orlando Bloom from Pirates of the Caribbean and LOTR, Vash the Stampede from Trigun, Johnny Depp from Sleepy Hollow and Pirates of the Caribbean, or Pegasus from Sailor Moon? The crowd roars, Oh no! You made us pick from like the 4 hottest guys on this planet!) You can tell he loves her when he protects her. I think she's loved him all along, I mean what could be more destined than a princess of the moon and a priest from like the center of the earth?
