Silver's Dollhouse

Ana

I forget how Ana (Now Shana) and I met. I'd seen her around TG for ages, and entered several of her contests, but we only really started talking in early 2008. I think we started talking during one of her contests, and at one point I asked her if she knew any interesting contests going on, or if she had any she could recommend to me. She referred me to her new site, The Pixel House, and I went and joined up. Now, you might think that was where it aaaaaall started, but really, I -being my lurky/shy self- didn't actually DO anything at TPH until about a month later, in mid-February, when she emailed me asking if I was going to be active. Finally, after talking a bit more, she convinced me to introduce myself.

And that was all it took. We continued to chat, and I slowly became active on the site. Being a small site, it was pretty much the two of us for a while, and we had a crazy-good time chatting all over the forum and generally being silly ^^ Then we decided to run a contest together, me being a failure at keeping contests going but having ideas, and she being very good at contest-hosting. The Chemical Elements contest was born, and was a success! I could ramble on. It's awesome, because we're about the same age, with similar tastes in reading material, and even both want to be Elementary school teachers!

Just before Easter, in the midst of running our contest, I sent her a Happy-Spring/Easter gift, and was delighted that she liked it. It'd been ages since I sent anybody a gift, and that made me really happy. I'm a gifty person ^^ Early in April 2008, I opened my inbox at TPH to find a new PM. We'd been working feverishly trying to figure out awards for our contest, though chatting more than working for the most part, and then she totally made my day by asking me if I would be her sister! I had been trying to work up the courage to ask her, and she beat me to it! I couldn't reply fast enough, and the rest, as they say, is history.

You can find us over at TPH, and her wonderful site is linked below:

Isica

Isica was my first Dolling Sister--We met back in early 2007, when we first opened our sites. We spammmed up her tag board chatting, and around Valentines day, I decided to send her a gift. It was late (as my gifts usually are) but I was pleased with the response.

When I checked back to the chatboard where we'd been communicating, there was a gift for me! I clicked the link...and much to my surprise, there was a doll asking to be my sister! I was ecstatic, and of course I said yes.
