Silver's Dollhouse

Early 2008

25/06/08

I really should update more frequently <.< I wind up with a huge overload of stuff to update with...Go take a look at The Pixel House! There's a tonne of stuff going on right now.

I have a new portrait base:   And many, MANY new dolls. Oh, and I updated my full body base with a new face and skin tone.

Six new Marsali dolls (Base by DHF) and a portrait with base from Sweetpix.

Two dolls of Seshayn, base by Caelest.

An entry for a colours contest, base from Silindor.

A portrait of me on my new base.

A doll for a collab I did with Shana, base by Bona [Unadoptable]

A request doll I made for Cream at TPH [Unadoptable]

A doll of Kaeti, on Xandorra's base

A doll that was GOING to be my second entry for MDI but...uh...I sent it to the wrong email address and didn't realize it 'til too late <.< Brilliant, right? Portrait base by me, full doll base by DHF.

05/06/08

The Pixel House is made of win. Go check it out. I haven't updated in over a month mainly cause I've been crazy busy...and also because I haven't really done anything. In any case, here's my latest work.

Marsali. Cause it wouldn't be an update without her ^^ Base, as usual, by DHF.

This one IS an MDF entry. Base by The World of Purple.

Not an MDF entry. Trust me. But yo umay see me following the rounds with her anyway. Base by DHF

Val. Again. For an alter-ego contest. She's a gypsy. Base still by DHF.

Ja'haiban commoner who is NOT an MDF entry and same character as a princess. But not a Ja'haiban one. Base by DHF

Princess Kayl'ayn of Ja'haib. Base by DHF

02/05/08

Check out my new portrait base!

Yep...Another update...Still plugging The Pixel House (Which you should go check out!) which has a couple new contests running, and a new top-secret one opening soon. I'm working on a bunch of pageant entries (yup...it's that time of year...) and...Had today off school. Which is why I'm updating. Without further ado, here is my latest work.

Marsali strikes again...The red one was started a loooong time ago (hence the long hair), is really boring, and I plain don't like her. (Bases DHF)

Iaigna (Base DHF)

My first MDI 2008 entry. Interestingly, it's also Iaigna, but obviously they look rather different...(Bases by Historical Dolls and Silindor)

Portrait with some serious base editing. I forget where the base is from...

Some random fantasy girl for a contest. This is one boring dress. (Base by DHF, face by World of Tropicalli)

Marsali (story version) and M'kail <3 (base by Miniature Reality)

Belaine (with red hair) and D'ler on my base.

18/04/08

I should've updated with this fantabulous news a LONG time ago: I have a new Sister-Site! The amazing Anarane (the two dots over the e won't work <.<) more recently known as Shana asked me about 10 days ago, and I almost died of excitement! Of course, I said yes! She's one of the founders of The Pixel House and is a plain awesome person. Check out TPH if you haven't already ^^ [/shameless plug]. Also, our contest's awards (The Chemical Elements Contest) are up HERE!

I've updated a couple new awards for me, and shop orders, and here's my latest work:

Nemira and Kavorn and Zenif and Tilari--Dragonwarriors/Story Characters. Bases DHF

Four more dolls of Marsali whose height keeps changing--one of which is NOT in green! (-dies of shock-) Base DHF

A Marsali portrait--The portrait base is mine, and it's TPH exclusive.

02/04/08

A  bunch of new dolls...Nothing very exciting. But what're these? Awards? For Wolf in Sheep's Clothing contest?

And again, check out The Pixel House. I made them a super cool portrait base that I'll show off here in the new future and it's a LOT of fun to hang out there. We're a small group, and pretty close knit. In terms of bases, I made a new couples base. Check it out.

Marsali and Silver (DHF)

A little Victorian water witch and My favourite doll EVER (Silindor)

A new RP character (Apitchou)

My DUB entry for TG (my new haircut) and last but not least, Khaliall with baby Marsali (Silindor and Cavall Castle)

05/03/08

Cleaned up my page according to suggestion from Anaranë ^^ -hugs- Go check out the contest we're running together: HERE. It's SUPER COOL! Also, take a look at The Pixel House, a new little forum. It's super friendly and loads of fun.

I've got another load of dolls...Another none of whom is Silver. But I've got a new character who seems to appear a lot lately: Marsali Sinclair. I've received three awards since I updated (And placed for the first time ever!) These are just the highlights of my recent work.

^ Marsali, the modern version of Khaliall's daughter. The last one is my NTD entry. (Base DHF)

Example for contest at Anarane's site (DHF)

Request for Anaranë (DHF)

Pallette Contest Entry (Pyro Parlour)

15/02/08

Guess what? I've been dolling for over a year and I didn't even realize it 'til the other day! My site went online February 3, 2007. So, to commemorate this event (well, not really, it just so happens...) I have a HUGE number of Dolls to post, somehow only one of whom is Silver. Seems a shame...

Anyway, base links are with the dolls on their respective pages.

Silver and...A guy?

These are all character dolls done for the same person

(Baseless!)

17/01/08

Ooh...my first update of 2008! I didn't realize that I hadn't yet this year...so allow me to say, Happy New Year! I've been busy. My Silver muse has returned with a vengeance...!

Silver, in a very shiny dress. I LOVE it. (Base DHF)

Kaeti, Silver and Bryna. The individual dolls are further down (Bases DHF)

Lady Gwyneth, turned Renaissance (Base from Salon Saphora)

Some random Regency girl...(Base from Haven of Silindor)

Kaeti, Silver's Sidekick (Base from DHF)

Silver, all dressed up. This was my first doll of her in 2008--I started it Dec. 31st just before midnight ^^ (DHF)

Kaeti's older sister, Bryna (Base DHF)

Rest of 2007

31/12/07

Apologies: Still no awards, but an update at least. And probably a new site name at some point in the near future...

My new Portrat -c'est moi, obviously- (Base: Mine, unreleased)

(Base: Haven of Silindor <3)

An entry for Miss Doll Character: Modern Lessa from Dragonriders of Pern. (Bases: Haven of Silindor and Legenadrio Tir na N'og)

My main NaNoWriMo characters (Meghan, Kevin and Gwyn: Bases Dazed Journey)

My NaNoWriMo character, Gwyn (Base: Haven of Silindor)

Random Medieval Lady (Base: Legendario Tir Na N'og)

3/11/07

Contest voting closed. Awards soon.

Okay, so that was longer than a week, but I've been busy...three new dolls!

^ A new character of mine who I adore...and surprise! It's that wonderful Haven of Silindor base again.

^ Same character on a Tir na n'Og portrait base. I like 'er.

^ A contest entry, which wound up being a practice doll for a Misurian request. (Lisosia)

23/10/07

Contest still VOTING.

I've finished two dolls today so I couldn't resist updating again even though I didn't mean to until the end of the week...I feel so productive!

With text/as a bmp because gif-ifying her screwed her up and gif-ified (screwy) On a Haven of Silindor base which I adore...This is another Misuri character, only mine for a change.

Elynne, a request from Misuri. I tried something new with the skirt. I love the hair.

19/10/07

Contest still VOTING.

I FINALLY FINISHED SOMETHING. So, I've been working on a request doll from Misuri Weyr for about a month...and haven't let myself do anything big until it was finished...so for the last week, I sat down and worked on the damn thing. And it's FINALLY done. Hurrah!

K'lern (left) and great-great-great grandson (who came back in time...long story...) K'tara (right) on a DHF base

Hurrah for preps. You'll be seeing more of Kel in the future, probably

11/10/07

Contest is still VOTING!

I have one contest entry, and a prep. There're still a bunch of things under way, namely a request and some story characters...

Mistress Érithor, for the Letter Contest (mine was É)

Rathyna, a Pernese character

4/10/07

My contest, the ancient Wolf in Sheeps Clothing one, is VOTING! I thank all entrants a billion times.

So, only one new doll, on the subject of contests and a billion things on the go:

(Base by CCG)

27/09/07

I'm going to try and update once a week rather than every day with one doll...So here are three new ones. I'm taking a break from the DHF bases to play with some smaller ones right now...besides the first one

Weyrwoman Kisa and Weyrleader M'fael. If you look in Roleplay Characters, you'll see an earlier Doll of Kisa. Which makes me ashamed in comparison to this one.

Another Pernese character, a Weaver, named Kaliane (I love this base)

And a pirate Wench inspired by a Simplicity Halloween Costume pattern. (CCG base--I haven't worked on this one recently)

20/09/07

So it's only been...two months...-guilt- I've been off the Internet world for a while now. Fortunately, I actually have things to show for my lengthy absence: 7, or maybe 8, new Dolls, and a bunch of  pixelled dragonettes. Almost everything is RP related.

^ My siggy for a HP forum

^ A recolour of my Academy girl to reflect the Full Mage uniforms rather than Student.

^ A really old doll of Fyn that I just found.

^ A Goddess of Wind, Tyria

^ Roleplay charrehs, K'ral and Iaigna. DHF base. Lyrics by Barlow Girl. -Unadoptable-

^ Same charrehs without background. K'ral has a beard.

^ A rp character; Cadence for Nai-ru. Base by DHF -Unadoptable-

^ The K'ral Fanclub signature. I forget who the base is by. -Unadoptable-

^ Kaliall, my Script Frenzy character. She's supposed to have wings, but I couldn't manage. Base by Pyrochan

^ My first doll of Silver in a long time. Example for Rd. 3 of MDF. Base by DHF -Unadoptable-

19/07/07

My last update before I leave for 3 WHOLE WEEKS. I shall be desolate...Anyway. Only one dol l for now.

One of my charrehs. <3 this doll. It's the first time that I've worked on a non-standing base! Base by Bunnystick

11/07/07

One doll for now. I like-eth her. I seem to be in a historical phase.

(Base by Pyrochan)

10/07/07

Yes. I am BACK and bearing two new works, as well. Imagine how HAPPY that makes me...I seem to have an obsession with blue at the moment. I've got so many WIPs that I don't know where to work next!

^ This is Thyme. I adore her to pieces but she is a rp character so no Adopts. Her hair is my hair. In all seriousness.

^ A regency girl. I'm rather fond of her, all things considered. The shading turned out better than I had hoped for in the skirt. (Base by Fainelloth)

April-June 2007

28/06/07

My last Doll before I leave on Vacation for 10 days. And yes...I ACTUALLY DOLLED again. Only one, though.

Zenniel, another UNADOPTABLE rp request. Variation on a theme...

23/06/07

The last 12 days have been full of hard work. I'm out of school at last...and come bearing 3 new dolls. None of them are adoptable as they are done as a gift for one of my RP friends.

(^ My very first guy that I'm not completely ashamed of! His pants are crap. But oh well...)

F'lion

Khaliall

Leilani

11/06/07

Yes. I'm still alive. I wont be updating much, still, as I've found that running a pageant is a full time thing--and school doesn't end, for me, until this Friday. So, to tide you over, I have a pitiful 3 new dolls. Yes. It's been a month, and I have only done THREE things. That ought to be changing in the future, since -as mentioned- school's nearly out. But for now:

One of my story characters. This doll is love--she's the best I've done in...oh...ages. I expect you'll be seeing more Pirates in the near future...

A not-so-great doll of Silver as an example for MDF Round 2 (unadoptable)

A commission of one of my Roleplay buddy's characters (Of whom I have several more to upload)

13/05/07

I've got a couple of updates: One, today is the last day to get any entries in for my Contest. Two, I have my first Round 2 entry for Miss Doll History, and my third doll on one of my Bases. Of whom I am very proud.

(Yes, she's not transparent. It destroyed her shading...)

Jane Austen for Round 2 of MDH.

10/05/07

Eeh! I'm so excited about this doll...Well, dolls. Which, again, was done on Pyro's base. Firstly, tis the Karlyn half of yesterday's doll, and I absolutely adore her dress. I'm very proud of it.

And the whole thing put together. Swords, etc. I hate Tilari's sword, since it looks a little wobbly, but it's as good as it's gonna get. Yes...Tilari and Karlyn are rivals. And they're both assassins, and 'undercover' in this doll.

09/05/07

I've got 5 new poses of that Bryn base I came out with a whole bunch of months ago...Yay! Find them under Doll-->Bases.

Also, part 1 of a pair of dolls that I'm dolling at this moment...this one is Tilari minus the sword. Unadoptable.

08/05/07

This is the first time I've finished a doll in a day alone, for quite a while! I <3 this one...my first real randomly fantasy doll. And it's on Monica from Tir na N'og's Equidna base, which I haven't used for a while.

(And just from habit, a comment: Crap skirt, but my first in that pleated style, but I love the top part and hair to pieces.)

07/05/07

Whee...Umm...a doll? Yes. It's Karlyn again. Which -gasp- means it's not Silver! I'm back from a retreat which I was on over the weekend. Contest closing on Sunday, an dI've got a bunch of entries I owe various contests and pageants...but I can't get inspired for them. So you'll probably be seeing a bunch of Silvers or Karlyns.

(For an Assassin, she really wears some interesting clothes...The bottom of the top is crap)

03/05/07

I'm on a roll! It's another doll on Pyro's base, for a contest...So, for a rare change, it's a MODERN doll! -gasp-

02/05/07

EDIT: Just to let you all know, my Wolf in Sheep's clothing Contest WILL be closing at the end of next week. Last minute entries welcome.

First update of May! I've been busy with MDF, so I haven't updated here recently...but I've got two small updates, and two larger Dolls underway. Too lazy to finish them, though.

A dollie for my Misuri Weyr darlin's...

And a doll that may or may not be a Contest entry for a 'Redoll someone else's doll' contest. I love this base ^^

29/04/07

Yaaaay! Done a doll that is NOT of Silver. I like her, even if something looks a little bit odd about her tunic. Umm...hmm. I'm working on a doll of Silver at the moment, but meh. It's not going too well. I don't like it. But I suppose that's not unusual. Anway, this latest girl is Karlyn. I think I will be dolling more of her in the future: She's an assassin-Dragonwarrior. I love her white boots.

26/04/07

Yay! I've got some inspiration back...My 10th doll of Silver on a DHF Base is officially complete. The folds and the boots looked ever-so-much better in Paint, but meh. Good enough. I love this tunic. I wanted to give her a sword, since she looks all warrior-y here. I like it...Might enter her in a 'Doll your Fantasy Character' contest. I thought it was particularily appropriate, but I might use a dress-Silver instead.

25/04/07

I really haven't been very productive lately! But here's a new Doll of Silver, to make up for the fact that I haven't done one of her in a while. I think I'm going to recolour it, since I'm sick of this shade of Green...and I keep using it without realizing it's the same shade! This dress is loosely inspired by a painting by Amy Brown.

22/04/07

What?! A doll that isn't of Silver?! That's right...it's the first in a while...She might be for the Miss Summer Pageant, but I don't know if I'll enter or not yet.

I finished her yesterday. Cute...but shading looks like crap now. -shrugs-

20/04/07

Whoot! MDF is going very well so far. Two entries submitted and 22 reservations thus far! Keep 'em coming! (I love you guys...)

Between my hard working of late to get that up and running, and keep it running with relative smoothness, I actually got time to do a doll. O.o Of course, it's Silver. Who else would it be?

She's all...jungle-y or ocean-y. I don't know why I think 'Jungle' with these colours, since I guess that they're more ocean-y, but I really like this doll.

18/04/07

Just a quick update; no new dolls yet I'm afraid -though nearly with a Silver one- but Miss Doll Fantasy is OPEN FOR RESERVATIONS! Again, that's www.freewebs.com/miss-doll-fantasy if you want to take a look. Squee! Thanks a tonne, Tabbycat, for making such great link buttons!

EDIT: New doll of Silver. She took me foreeeeever to get done. Most of this afternoon, and half yesterday. And I still don't know if I like her or not. Bleck. The shading looked better in MS Paint, before I turned her all GIF-fy. Well, I love the colours, and the dress design, so if it really bothers me, I can always rework it! And I just realized that I forgot to deck her out in jewellry...but oh well. Still lookin good!

15/04/07

EDIT: ANOTHER new doll of Silver. This makes...#10 doll of Silver over all. Not sure which number on a DHF base. I think it's #6, but it might be #5. I like this one a lot. It's my first try on a base that isn't standing. I think she's been captured. I love the tears in her stockings...

The Miss Doll Fantasy site is NEARLY done! If you're interested, go to www.freewebs.com/miss-doll-fantasy. Not taking reservations yet 'cause it'll be a while until the rules and everything are done, but it's close. We'll probably wait 'til the prime pageant season has calmed down a bit until it opens...But, yes.

I've been trying to do a medieval doll for a contest for some time...and in the end, I turned my Medieval girl into Silver to inspire me! I'm quite pleased with this. Even if it looked better before it was converted to GIF. And the top is all messed up...but I love the skirt. <3 Happiness!

(As can be seen, her hair is NOT in it's typical style, because I wanted to go for a more accurate medieval look)

14/04/07

Tis another doll of Silver. I think that I can now officially call her my Muse considering how many I've done...This is inspired by my first doll ever of her; that horrible purple and yellow one that I was so very proud of...I think I've improved considerably! Even if that doll DID win an award ^^ It wasn't even very long ago. Which is scary.

13/04/07

Tis...well, the Miss Doll Fantasy layout doll. Unadoptable. But I love her. Especially that dress.

11/04/07

First finished doll in a while! I've been working on her FOREVER! And at last...she is complete. My Miss Doll International entry; Miss Cayman Islands

5/04/07

New Gift in the Gifts Given section...As a thank you prezzie to the lovely  Isica for helping me out with the Miss Doll Fantasy idea ^^ I'm going to be away from Friday to Monday, so I shan't be updating, as I will not have access to any computers. ...And I don't have any new dolls, because I'm terribly lazy right now, and don't have any inspiration.

3/04/07

I like this dollie. She was originally started as a Contest entry for a Medieval contest, before I decided that she looked to Renaissance-ish...Thus I still have a Contest entry to do, but I have a doll of whch I am very fond. I like the size of this base.

1/04/07

Starting off the month well, with a doll of Silver that has been sadly neglected for the past little while.

....I'm stil not sure what I think of it. The right sleeve (her right; my left) is all wonky. I don't like it.

March/07

31/03/07

Last day of March! If you can't tell, I love this base. I really SHOULD be working on my Miss Doll International entry, but I'm having so much fun with these billions of little folk...These are the characters of people on my Roleplay site. There is one per each active-ish member. Soooo adorable! I still can't get over it.

(Left to right: Ashli, Dendra, K'lern, Anarriima, Kisa, Tessa, K'ral, Ralael, Railian)

and another roleplay character set done with the same ADORABLE base; edited minorly.

30/03/07

Is this not the CUTEST base? I was bored, and wanted to do a big group, but didn't want to do it with, say, Moe bases from DHF...so I found some sprites. And they ROCK! I'm going to do a group for my roleplay site, Misuri Weyr, too. They're very easy, and I luffles them to death...

(Left to right: Tarvyk, Kaeti -as Kaed- Jadryth, Silver, Bryna, Gwen and Darthin)

I have an email up for Miss Doll Fantasy, now, so if you're curious, send any questions or comments to: missdollfantasy(NOSPAM)@hotmail.com (Removing 'Nospam')

28/03/07

Eh ^^ Working on a new pageant idea that may/may not ever come to be: Miss Doll Fantasy. If you're interested in the idea, let me know. I still haven't even got a site up, or a gauge of who's interested. So PLEASE contact me if you think the idea has merit. If it does occur (after MDE closes, MDH moves on, and MDI...maybe) it won't be for quite a while.

In any case, this is my entry for Grace O'malley in Miss Doll History!

A Modern Pirate queen! I love her shirt. It looked  better before converted to GIF...and I own those boots.

26/03/07

I've settled on the DHF base for Silver--and since I keep getting random ideas for her clothes wherever I am, I figure I'll be dolling her a while yet. And yes, I DO have another doll of the lady in question. And yes, she's wearing red and pink...

...Swishy. Her hair's in a braid. I think something's messed with the top of the skirt, but I like-eth it still.

25/03/07

Okay. So I started this doll first, got lazy, kidnapped the dress, and put it on Silver. But it's actually a doll of Isica for her contest! I'm quite proud of the final effect of this one.

It's...kind of obvious it's the same dress. But I changed it for Silver. I like this belt a heck of a lot better than the one on Silver, and the Fainelloth face.

Oh! News: I'm also now putting my sister's (literally, my sister) dolls on my site under Mystified's Dolls, if you want to go take a look. She's really new at dolling, and about 11.

24/03/07

I should have a motto. Something like 'One doll a day.' 'Cause that's what I seem to be doing lately! Ah, well...I have another doll of Silver, of whom I'm very proud. I haven't yet determined if I prefer working on the Fainelloth base, or the DHF base for this size of doll...any comments, let me know!

And yes, her hair is much shorter here. This is the actual length that it's supposed to be--again with the little braids out front.

23/03/07

The edited version of the doll posted yesterday: This is the HOPEFULLY finished version. I think...

I'm working on a roleplay character doll, which actually looks like Silver but isn't, and some other stuff...

22/03/07

My first doll of Silver on a Maia base! I'm rather proud of her. It's the first large doll I've done in a while (well, I guess my base is large-ish) and I like the way her skirt turned out, even if it is WAY less foldy than I wanted it to be...

This isn't quite done yet. I intend to add sleeves, but I liked this version without, so I'm going to be uploading another version of the same doll tomorrow with a little bit more embellishment--ie. sleeves, a circlet and maybe some trim. But I wanted to have the simple one up too ^^ Comments welcome on it if anyone so wishes....

Silver's being rather flirty here ^^ It's her as a demure-er Lady.

21/03/07

A LOT of dolls on the go right now! I'm working on one of Silver, another Doll History one, and various other miscellania. Of course, being me, FINISHING any of it is the challenge...But I have completed one random character as a Base Edit contest Entry for Pyro Parlour! I'd really like to do something that ISN'T a contest entry, eventually. But I have so much fun doing them. Figures.

19/03/07

So, it's taken me two days two do...but it's a SECOND doll on my Bryn base! -gasp- Anyway, she's a historical renaissance doll that I did for a contest on TG. I'm fond of her. At present. I'm sure, looking back in a little while, I'll think of a billion things I could change...

I'm working on a new pose of my Bryn base, and a few dolls of Silver at the moment, otherwise. Also, I updated the entries to my Contest! -Pride-

16/03/017

Yes, that's right, it's the FIRST DOLL ON MY BRYN BASE! Appropriately enough, it's Bryna (in a dress I meant to be peasant styled...) looking rather shapely and nice, with the first doll I've done of her with long hair.

15/03/07

Last doll in my Roleplay character series for a while: Meet K'lern! I think he turned out better than K'ral, and I like his hair a lot.

I'm working on a doll on my base (thank you to those who gave me such helpful CC!) and a portrait doll for TG

14/03/07

I finished my very first Base today! I did it mainly because I'm sick of using other people's bases whenever I want to do anything, and okay, so she only has one pose so far: I'm very proud of myself, because she looks as good as plenty of bases I've seen (even if not as good as DHF or Fainelloth)

CLICK HERE to see my first Bryn Pose! I'm not quite happy with her face yet, but that's being worked on still...

My modern version of Jane Austen for the Miss Doll History contest! I'm rather proud of her, even if she's not all that fancy...

(Unadoptable)

11/03/07

This is K'ral, another Dragonrider roleplay character of my friend's. I don't like his hair, or his shirt...but he's not that bad.

10/03/07

Another few roleplay character dolsl, only this one is unadoptable (I made her for my friend) This is Ralael, the dragonrider of Sea Kath. (Yes, she is NOT supposed to have that other sleeve) The folds on her skirt are bugging me...they looked better in paint so I think the GIF monster ate them.

(Later: Here's a smudged version)

Comments?

I've been taking requests for people in my forum, so here's the second one that I did for Nevermore (Unadoptable unless you are her) --Anarriima without her Dragontone skin

09/03/07

I loooooove this doll. She makes me laugh ^^ So meet Princess Xalita Suriannoraa, my entry for Tabbycat's Mary-Sue contest. She's unadoptable until the contest's end, whenever that may be.

...I forgot to tie her braid up, and give her a crown. I may modify her a bit, but I'm liking her armor, or lack there of.

07/03/07

Okay. So I haven't updated--but I really would have yesterday if my stupid Internet had been working! -stabs the internet- As a result, I've got one complete doll done -the aforementioned Roleplay character who knocked me over the head with inspiration- and a baseless one...Which I'm debating putting up because it's of a dead guy lying on a bed. Its not to graphic, but the concept itself might be a bit too much.

So: Here's Kisa, the Weyrwoman of Misuri Weyr, from a Roleplay based on Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern Series. I feel obliged to explain that her skin is oddly shaded on purpose: she is one of the Chosen (existant only in this particular Weyr) whose skin and eyes take on attributes of a dragon. There's a bit of a story following her appearence here. In short, a Dragonrider of the Weyr was murdered, and she was woken in the middle of the night. Consequently, feeling that control of the Weyr took precedent over appearence, she got out of bed, put on a tunic and boots, and ran full out down to the victim's room...tearing a panel of her nightgown later on for convenience's sake as she and some other people rushed to solve the murder. So this is Kisa's grand debut:

I'm going to be working a lot (in the near future) on a doll for Miss Doll History so I probably won't be updating a great deal. HOWEVER, I've got a doll of a roleplay character of mine half done, that knocked me over the head with inspiration in the middle of a post.

I like her. A lot. And hopefully a half-finished doll of Kaeti will be completed soon, as well.

New doll! I've been working on this for quite some time, but am not happy with how she turned out--though I do really like her hair and the breastplate. I find my fault in her skirt--it's not the best I've ever done shading wise, but she isn't bad overall.

^ A gift for Isica (Unadoptable)

And another doll, with which I am much more satisfied, but oddly enough, spent rather less time on. -pats Kaeti- I really like this doll. I mean, I'm very proud of her. There's something about her that just...worked. It's another doll of Kaeti.

First day of March! And I have my doll of Larraine from the Collaboration up--unadoptable, but individual. I'm still loving her outfit, but now I feel like dolling a flowy dress. How likely that is to happen--I can't say.

And another doll which I REALLY like--she's a Greek doll based off of a Simplicity pattern I have. I really adore the way her hair worked out.

February

28/02/07

Last day of February. For the past while, Isica and I have been working on a collab! I've got a version of it ready to upload, but I might replace it once we tidy things up. I've got a bunch of other things to upload in the near future, too.

(Ana and Larraine)

LOVING this next doll. She's just so...springy! It's Bryna--again. This is my first full sized doll of her. I've got another mini Kaeti under construction, but I'm putting her off for a while. I'd like to do a version of her on this base, also in a formal gown so that I can have a Bryn, Kaeti and Silver group doll.

25/02/07

I've had a battle over this doll-Modern or Character? After all, she is both. She's a writer from a Mystery that I'm writing; the same mystery story with the doll I did yesterday (Elizabeth) in it, but I put Elizabeth under Modern dolls. You see my problem. In any case, I really, REALLY like this doll. She looks a bit like me, except for the hair. She's supposed to be sitting on something, but I couldn't find any chairs that worked so...here she is.

24/02/07

It's been a while, but I've finished a full sized fantasy doll--at least, one that isn't a Prep. I like her. I'm fond of the way that her over-shirt folds. It's Kaeti again--Only needless to say, she isn't disguised as a guy.

And another doll-playing with modern fabrics. I wanted to add a trim but couldn't figure out how to do it. She's based off of a character of mine in a mystery I'm writing -the character being Elizabeth- but she's not accurate enough to fall under characters.

And a version of Silver! I really should get around to doing one of her on a DHF base so I can put her and Kaeti together, but...oh well. I like this base because of it's size. It's quite decent for someone like me. She looks more modern than fantasy, but I still like her.

21/02/07

I've got 2 dolls nearly done right now that will hopefully be up in the next while, but probably not today because I've got a bit homework load and a story on the mind.

UPDATE:

New doll; homework isn't done yet but a lurvly doll in blue is. It took me about 45 minutes to doll her. She's a medieval fantasy roleplay character of mine, and even if I'm not quite satisfied with the dress (I think I'm missing a fold somewhere) I do like her.

18/02/07

One more of my billion things in progress is complete! A very random doll, just because I felt like drawing a tunic and corset-ish thing. Fun! I think she looks a little bit plastic in regards to the shading on her tunic, but...I'm working on it.

17/02/07

I have about a billion things in progress including a Contest Entry for Isica's contest, a doll that I've been working on for WEEKS, and a bunch of little, half done ones that I get new ideas for about half way through. However, I have at least one thing currently complete!

Yes, it is my very first MODERN doll. So exciting...it's me, in my favourite outfit. In case you're curious, the shirt says 'Lord, What fools these mortals be'

Me:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls)

And an unadoptable doll, at least until March 20th when the contest she is an entry for is supposed to be over:

Isica:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls) -Unadoptable-

I've been working on this one off and on for a long time. She's a part of the set including Alice, Rachel and Isabel, and the character who I'll be playing in 'The Movie.' It took me so long because I got extremely fed up with that coat. I'm still not sure if I like it, but I really like how the leggings turned out...so yeah. She's a pirate. Sort of. Originally I was going to give her a hat too but I figured that, with me trying it, it would look screwy at best. I was going to give her a sword too, but changed my mind for the same reason.

Larraine Seton:: Base (DHF)

16/02/07

I now have a sister, Isica! She does lovely dolls, with an amazing eye for colors.

I have a day off of school today! -excitement- So...I'm dolling like crazy. I've got an unadoptable Fantasy doll, and a bunch of other things. I like the way that the dress on this doll turned out. Simple, but quite pretty.

Carmine:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls) -Unadoptable-

15/02/07

New miniature doll on my first ever base -now up- and update in the contest--we now have a grand total of one entry. If you're interested, it'll be on for quite a while yet so don't worry.

Pink:: My Base -Unadoptable-

A new base by me! O.o I must be crazy--but it's up. If you use it, remember to link back.

14/02/07

See Here for information on the new contest--Wolf in Sheep's Clothing.

It will be running until some time around the end of March. Probably--but I have no guarantees at the moment. And a new fantasy doll! There's a version with veil, and a version without. I  made her initially just to play with the hair. And techniques of shading the skirt.

Veiled Aritha:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls)

Aritha:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls)

Megan:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls)

Above, a new historical doll. I'm not entirely sure where exactly she's from, but if nothing else I suppose that she's a Regency girl. I like her, whatever she is--except for her face. But the rest worked out quite well in my opinion.

13/02/07

A very large doll--to dwarf all of those teeny little ones I've been doing lately. I've got two small ones on the go, the one of Larraine I mentioned and just finished this one. I'm rather proud of it. She's just a random fantasy person from a world I've made up.

Bladedancer:: Base (If looks could kill)

And two very small dolls! The companion doll to the first version of Kaeti--her older sister Bryna, and Bryna in a Noble's gown. Both Kaeti and Bryna are characters in a story that I'm writing. I'm quite proud of the way Bryna's dress turned out in the second one

12/02/07

A few new dolls! And maybe another version of Silver upcoming, as well as a full body version of Larraine on the standard DHF base.I've decided to work more with Prep bases for the next while, and am quite pleased with how this one turned out.

Kaeti:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls)

Regency Girl:: Base (Fainelloth Dolls) --My first historical doll that isn't a character

08/02/07

My mass production of garments has slowed and been almost hidden beneath my massive amounts of French homework. However, I have a new doll today! Her hair looks a little bit flat, and I'm not sure if I like the garment or not, butthat will be undergoing refinment in the next couple of days.

Larraine Seton:: Base (If Looks Could Kill)

04/02/07

New doll (not much surprise there!) A pirate version of Alice Fletcher, with different hair and on a different base.

Alice Fletcher:: Base (Solace's Meadow)

And a smudged version of the same doll that I'm still not certain about. Actually, I don't know if it even looks any different.

Alice Fletcher:: Base (Solace's Meadow)

As well, a finished version of the last girl in my trio, consisting of Alice Fletcher and Isabel Newton: Isabel's companion, the merchant's daughter Rachel Baird.

Rachel Baird:: Base (Doll on the Hill Factory)

And the trio themselves, all together now that I have finished Rachel at long last. Rachel and Alice have switched eyecolors in this version, since I realized that I had given Rachel blue eyes and Alice brown ones, where it ought to be the other way around. It doesn't make a difference to anyone but me ^^

Oh my goodness. I've been wondering for a while, but I've finally gone entirely insane. I'm quite certain of it. I have finally gone crazy enough to start up a site of my own, with intentions of actually putting dolls on it. Of my creation. This is why I believe that I've gone mad. For one, I don't have any programs truly capable of making fantastic dolls like many of the other thousands of dollers out there: what should make this site stand out? For another, I rarely have the time, but I love dolling, and designing the characters who live in my head.

I'm something of a costume designer. I have trillions of characters living in my head, bumbling around until they decide that they want out. This is the venue for them to stagger into the light, blink dazedly about a bit, and then decide that they'd like to stay. It's rather difficult to get rid of my characters once they make an appearence, and I suspect that some, like Silver, will end up hogging the attention. After all, she managed to wheedle her way into the site's title.

Perhaps, before I thoroughly convince people of my insanity , I should say a little bit about myself. I'm a highschool girl from Canada, with an obsession for history and things that, in short, don't really exist. I'm a voracious reader of Fantasy novels, and in the process of writing one of my own. The best drawing program on my beloved computer is MS Paint, which is rather sad, but I'm working on finding a better program, which is not over $100. It's more difficult than I might have surmised. I have almost no capabilities in the area of HTML or website construction, so I have to resort to premade layouts.

So on a complete different note, without further ado, meet my first character: Amarea, aka Silver, who is just about as spoiled as a girl can be.
