Their Love Story

At some night, as usually Kenshin should kill his targets. This time was Kyoto Shoshidai & Shigekura Jubei. At that night these 2 persons were in patrol night job. Kiyosato, only a new to patrol group. Suddenly Kenshin slaw his 2 targets. Because of Kiyosato is an eyewitness, he should kill him too. Kenshin tried to kill him, but Kiyosato still survive & defend his life. But battousai still stronger, then he died before he finished to say Tomoe's name. Kiyosato's determination was strong enough so he can left one scar in Kenshin's left cheek.

At the other night (rainy night in OVA), almost a year latter, Kenshin attacked by an Oniwabanshuu member. It's really a hard enough battle for him. Kenshin finally did cut this person's body into 2 pieces. And the blood flowing everywhere. Unfortunately, Kenshin met Tomoe and she said to Kenshin, "You really make it rain of blood"

Since that time, Tomoe acts as a stray cat (doesn't have a home to stay) and worked in Ikeda Inn, the post of Chosu family from Meiji clan. She tried to know the reasons for Kenshin to kill people. Sometimes they talk about Kenshin's life though Tomoe had never tell about her life to Kenshin. Someday, because of Ikeda Ya incident, Katsura asked Kenshin & Tomoe to go to Outsu and live there as a husband & wife.

Since they lived together and knowing each other, they realized that they felt in love each other. When she planed to betrays Kenshin and let her friend kill Kenshin, Kiyosato's spirit gave her a plum and asked her to save Kenshin. And Tomoe really did that. She protect Kenshin and (ehm) killing each other with her friend. She died in Kenshin's hug  and gave him another scar in his left cheek & it was the reasons why Kenshin had an x scar in his left cheek.

After Tomoe's death, Kenshin finished his duty to slay people. And then after the new era has come he promised never want to kill anymore. He became a rurouni (wanderer) and lives a better life with his new friends.
