From the London Sunday Times (23rd March 2003):
"Fighting fathers breed a better adjusted child, say psychologists"
Fathers who play-fight with their children - behaviour long feared to be damaging - are helping them grow into well-adjusted adults, a study has shown.
The tendency of men to rough-house and be physical with youngsters has been dis-couraged since the 1960s, when child psychologists suggested it might be harmful.
Now the first rigorous study (by Professor Charles Lewis of Lancaster University, UK) of the issue has shown that children with such fathers are among the friendliest and most peaceful and popular in the school playground.
By contrast, children who are mollycoddled at home and discouraged from rough behaviour are much more likely to turn into bullies or their victims.

"But what difference does it make whether women rule, or
the rulers are ruled by women? The result is the same."

Humourless feminist of the week
British comedy character "Ali G" - a white man who spoofs "Wiggers" (white people who try to act like cool blacks) - has managed to fool lots of politicians and famous people in the UK with his spoof interviews - which involve him asking ridiculously funny questions which they think is all part of a real interview. Now hes done a series of these in America (because too many people know him now in the UK) and the likes of Newt Gingrich took it all in good humour.
But then he had the affrontery to play the joke on self-important feminist Naomi Wolf (author of shitty books and freelance newspaper and TV pundit who probably gets the lion's share of her work due to the fact that shes very pretty and she'd probably shout very loudly, cause a scene and then sue you if you so much as looked at her the wrong way).
Shes now threatened to take legal action against the makers of the TV show and therefore her interview will now not appear in the US.

Young mothers say they want to stay at home:
Most young women do not want to juggle a full-time job with motherhood and would prefer to stay at home with their children, research from Bristol University has found. Of women under 35, two thirds would rather stay at home when they become mothers or work part time.
Now women stray for sex, men for a hug:
Shirley Glass in a new book "not just friends" blames the growing trend of illicit sexual adventures among married women for America's 50% divorce rate. America's divorce rate has quadrupled since 1970.
Labour plans women-only seats on local councils:
Tony Blair is facing a new row over preferential treatment for women in the Labour party.
Patricia Hewitt, the women's minister says "We are going to have to take positive action in local government, put women in the most winnable seats."
Webmaster's Comment: This is pure anti-male feminist power-mongering at its worst. They are so outrageous that they are not even claiming that these women are good enough to compete against the men, they are saying that they want them put into "Winnable seats". If they are hard-working and talented enough they shouldnt have to be placed into "Winnable seats". And the Orwellian term of "Positive action" makes me puke! But look out Hewitt, the men's movement will be taking some "positive action" of its own when we are more powerful!

Man-hating feminist of the week
Here's a little insight into the twisted, man-hating agenda of the feminist movement. Mainstream feminist Martha Burk calls for all boys to be sterilised and only allowed to have children as adults if an authoritarian panel let him.
"Controlling men’s fertility would not be a hard restriction to enforce.
So how do we control men’s fertility? Mandatory contraception beginning at puberty, with the rule relaxed only for procreation under the right circumstances (he can afford it and has a willing partner) and for the right reasons (determined by a panel of experts, and with the persmission of his designated female partner). This could be easily accomplished with a masculine version of the contraceptive implants some judges are now trying to force on some women by court order. "

Just a thought, but how many men in World War 2 died valiently defending our freedoms from the Nazis who would have been quite in agreement with the kind of policy that Ms Burk suggests?

Thought of the week
I have a theory that men have a greater potential for good or evil
than women. In order to be truly evil or good you have to have made a
moral choice. Like in the story "A Clockwork Orange" a young boy who
leads a life of bad behaviour needs to choose to become good, but
instead the state put him through some brutal therapy that makes him
ill whenever he thinks of doing something bad. But this doesnt make
him good, it forces him to not be bad. Theres a difference. Without
the capacity to make moral choices in our behaviour we are a living
thing that has become mechanised, like a clockwork orange.
Men feel these choices more than women. Men choose. Men are pre-
eminantly the moral creatures.
We are taught by our upbringing, education and the media that women
are good, men are bad. We are told to think of Mother Theresa and
Florance Nightingale. Yet these are no more representative of most
women than are serial killers representative of most men. Women in
general dont behave themselves because it is the RIGHT thing. In fact
most women these days balk at the idea of any code of morals. Rather
they behave themselves because they want to appear good, socially
acceptable, attractive and they dont want to confront bad feelings.
Their code is not based on platonic system of morals. Its based on
feelings. In other words, they are not so much moral or imoral. They
are amoral. Which is something even worse. They havent made a moral
decision. THey havent even acknowledged that there was one to make in
the first place.
Why is this so? Men know about morals because we virtually always
have to deal with the consequences of our actions. Women hardly ever
have to. Chiefly because they are protected from the consequences by
society that treats them more lieniantly than men, and by their own
capacity for self-deception. THey never face up to taking the blame
for any actions they take that have bad effects. THey make excuses.
Amoral women get away with their bad actions. They are let off more
easily in court cases. This week, commenting on the case of a woman
who had been falsely imprisoned for killing her two babies, British
TV presenter Anne Diamond said "Even if she had 'done something' to
them, I'm not sure that jail would have been the right response."
This attitude shows two things to me:
1) when a woman does something evil, its downplayed. Its given a
euphamism of 'done something' rather than 'killed'. This helps
perpetutate the idea that women dont do bad things.
2) Even if a woman kills, people are reluctant to punnish her for it.
She does not have to face the consequences of one of the most evil
acts.
This sheltering from the consquences of their acts starts in an
almost inadvertant way when boys and girls are told off. Becuase a
boys misbehaviour is easier to spot - eg hitting another boy - he is
more likely to be told off, but the girls misbehaviour takes the form
of psychological warfare, ostracising a friend, spreading rumors. It
can be devastating to the victim, but is rarely spotted and punished.
She thus learns she can get away with her bad behaviour.
And then this continues into adulthood. A woman's behaviour is not
bound by any moral code (and even male criminals often have some sort
of moral code), but is purely bound by what she can get away with,
what society will turn its back to. Thus women emotionally manipulate
their husbands and drive them to the edge, they decide now , in the
UK, to kill 1 in 4 babies that are due to be born (although obviously
it cant be expressed in this language, it has to be abstracted and
called "terminating the pregnancy"), they support and date the bad
men, and leave the good men in on a Saturday night, and even if they
do give a good guy dates they will sense the weak and vulnerable
position that his personal morals leave him in and walk all over him.
Of course, I've simplified the world a GREAT deal in this argument,
but nevertheless I beleive their is a great deal of truth in this.
And its an unspoken truth.
Evil doesnt need all men to be bad, it just needs a small number of
men to make a wrong moral choice, then the majority of women will
support them.
Comments anyone?

Song Lyric of the week...
Samantha Mumba sings: "All the good men who are out there, all the ladies wanna know where, so put your hands up in the air, and say "I'm right here"
I respond: "Where are all the good men? Hiding from you, you ugly slapper!"
