This site is named after the greatest super hero song ever created- "THOR (THE POWERHEAD)" off of the "Sign of The Hammer" album by Manowar. Lift your goblets of rock into the air and give it a listen!

 My sincerest thanks to everyone who's ever clicked on or ordered
through my Sideshow banners. Since I first posted about the injured
turtle Gamera I rescued after he had been hit by a car a year ago, my
Sideshow clicks/commissions have risen and I just wanted to thank you
all. By clicking on them you have personally helped pay for Gamera's
exotic vet bills and care, and have personally contributed to his
survival.
I just got my first Sideshow check for this year (hey,
I'm not a big site, it takes a while!) and it was $100, which knocked
me on my ass. It just about completely paid for Gamera's most recent
vet visit. When the vet saw Gamera again a year later he couldn't
believe Gamera had actually survived. Damn right he did!
One
year later, Gamera can unfortunately only barely open his jaw on his
own (not enough to feed himself)- just enough to let me know it's time
to feed him again and break out the food syringe. It will never get
better. The extensive jaw damage he had left a permanant hole in the
top of his mouth which connects with his sinuses, so he's more prone to
catching infections now (you can see the split he has straight up the
front of his face. Believe it or not, this is NOTHING compared to the
way it looked when he was injured), and, his right eye is useless.
I
named him Gamera because the movie version always got his ass kicked
but somehow always made it back into the ring. It was that or Jonah
Hex, and I think only me and one other guy would get the joke.
When
you click on my Sideshow ads, I'm considered a Sideshow referrer for
you for an entire year, whatever you buy from them, whenever you order
from them, and they pay me a 10% commission of what they make from your
order. That all goes to take care of Gamera, just for clicking, for
things you were going to order anyways like Star Wars exclusives or of
you're really smart, more zombies!
