WELCOME TO THE HOME OF SIDETRACK'D

Sidetrack'd is a variety rock band in the Washington D.C. metro region, emphasizing rock covers from every decade since the 60's.  The band primarily caters to private parties and is able to provide all sound and lighting equipment as required. 

Guitarist/vocalist, Cal Smith, began organizing the band in the fall of 2002 - by the summer of 2003, the inital structure of the band and equipment were in place.  Sidetrack'd debuted its interpretation of 35 covers the following New Year's Eve, to an enthusiastic response.  In 2004, the band refined the playlist and performed outdoors at a Fourth of July Party in Manassas, VA, and at another party in Mason Neck, VA.  Both were hugely successful - our tunes got both young and old rockin'.  In 2005, Sidetrack'd performed at a retirement party in February and at a pig roast in July.  The band also added a new bass guitar player during the Spring. 

Following a 6 month break, Sidetrack'd is back together, expanding our playlist to include contemporary material, searching for a new lead vocalist, and preparing for our next gig in June 2006.  During the Spring of 2006, the band plans on developing a press package and recording a demo.  Before long we should be playing 4 - 6 gigs/year (primarily parties)  - watch the schedule as show details will be provided there.  Hope to see you all at one of our shows - we guarantee that the band will at least momentarily, sidetrack you from your everyday routine!
