The Assignment: Donate your Time as Ushers in the Stands from 8 a.m. to end of Races (@ 6:00 p.m.) October 9th, 10th, and 11th.

The Added Benefit: You get into the Stands for Free and Help Soroptimist Raise Much Needed Funds for their Women's Opportunity Award, VRA Award, Rudy Award, and Scholarship Programs to support women and girls in our local communities.
The Requirements: Will be required to be on your feet all day providing directions to seats, restrooms, smoking areas, etc.

Soroptimist International of Chino Hills/Inland Empire is a proud sponsor of Charity Cars
Last year through joint sponsorship with Auto Value Parts Stores, local Bumper to Bumper Certified Service and Repair Centers, and the Metro Automotive Warehouse, 13 women from the House of Ruth received reconditioned cars. These automobiles went to women coming out of abusive situations so that they could start a new life and have transportation to work and school. "Most of these women leave these situations with just the clothes on the backs and their children," said Jan O'Neill SI of Chino Hills/Inland Empire Committee Chair. "Through these car donations, we offer them a chance to change their lives and provide for their families."
The Charity Cars Campaign is a massive project to seek, secure and refurbish vehicles that are then presented to qualified recipients during grand award ceremonies. Last year's ceremonies were held in December at Wally Parks National Hot Rod Museum in Pomona.
SI of Chino Hills/Inland Empire is sponsoring this event again this year and is looking for car donations for the program. Anyone interested in donating their car and receiving a tax deduction should contact Jan O'Neill at 909/627-0919
