When choosing a breeding queen, knowing the history of her sire and dam is important and research into known genetic problems is essential. She should be in good health with no outstanding faults. Her diet must be the best you can afford to maintain her in good condition during her breeding years.
Breeding is a big commitment and should not be gone into without a great deal of thought. There is so much more to breeding and rearing kittens than providing a cardboard box and allowing your queen to get on with it. She is 100% dependant on you for her care and the care and welfare of her kittens. Guidelines for breeders can be found on the various registering body websites and reputable breeders are willing to mentor new breeders.
Alisa and Lulu are two of my original imports from St. Petersburg. From the data available on hereditary problems in Siberians, there are no known common ancestors with or related to PKD and HCM affected cats. Even so, they will be screened and their results will be published. Bridget is Alisa and Alpo's daughter. Because Bridget's sire tested HCM positive, she has been the first of my second generation to be HCM screened. She is HCM Negative.

Dob 16.11.01 Alisa is a stunningly beautiful girl with melting eyes. She is a large female with excellent type and correct coat texture. Bred by Svetlana Andreeva from St. Petersburg, Russia, she was specially chosen for me by Irina Sadovnikova of Dikaya Krassa Cattery. She has consistantly produced beautiful kittens with excellent coat texture. She was shown twice at FIFe shows and both times was nominated and awarded Best in Show New Variety. As she does not have 3 or more generations on her pedigree, she can never be shown at GCCF shows. Alisa carries dilute and solid and produces spotted kittens. With her spotted coat, she reminds me of a minature Snow Leopard.

Lulu is Loui's litter sister. She was fostered with Essie's breeder for the duration of her Pets Passport. Though quiet by nature and affectionate with Alice and I, she is wary of strangers. She is a medium size female of good type with with an excellent coat and has matured into a very nice girl, consistantly producing kittens of excellent type, substance and correct coat. Lulu carries dilute and solid and produces spotted kittens.

Bridget is a lovely example of a Siberian female. She is medium sized with heft. She has been very successful at GCCF shows, being awarded several merits, also winning SLH classes. She is at her best during the winter months when she has a glorious coat but like many Siberians, she drops most of her coat in the summer which means she cannot be shown in summer months. Bridget's kittens have excellent type with correct coat.
Bridget carries dilute, solid, golden, colourpoint and produces spotted kittens.

Dob 21.04.07.
Shown once as a kitten at The Viking Cat Club 2-day show under FIFe rules, Lola was awarded Ex I on both days.
Lola is a large young female of excellent type with a playful purrsonality. I am sure she will prove herself to be an asset to my future breeding program.
She is litter sister to Archie who has already produced some beautiful kittens. Two of her litter sisters have gone to overseas breeders.
