How does Shutterstock Work?
At the Shutterstock site, if your a buyer, you can choose the subscription that best suits your needs. With shutterstocks 25-A-Day plans, you may subscribe anywhere between 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or up to 1 year, and you may download up to 25 images per day which is a total of 750 per month. With Shutterstocks On Demand plans, you may purchase a certain number of images for use any time you want over the course of 1 year. There are no additional fees after you become a subscribe to Shutterstock. We also provide special licenses for multi-user accounts, print runs exceeding 250,000, and merchandise and media uses.

What is stock photography?
Stock photography is any image/design(you now can even sell footage!) that may be sold for use as a print, web ads, books/magazines, news, or on websites etc. according to the licensing terms to which the photographer and buyer have agreed.
