Chrissy as she is known at home, is a Welsh Mountain Section A, grey 4 yo, 11.3hh mare. Her Sire is Alianna Red Baron, and her Dam is Churinga Cameo. Chrissy is currently being shown in led classes, and is coming along quite nicely. Chrissy is broken in to saddle, and can be ridden by adults and young children. She is a beautiful young lady and her temperament shone through when only green broken, you would have thought the way she handled the young kids riding her that she had been at it for decades, not a couple of months. Chrissy is bred by Ms Barbara Marchant in Winchelsea Victoria.
Chrissy is currently in Foal to Tabayne Studs resident Buckskin Stallion, Roskyle Biscotti, and will be living the life of luxury out in our larger paddocks until foaling time comes.
Glenview New Zack, or Zack as we call him at home by Weston Park Sherlock out of Glenview Florin (SOD: Coed Coch Gwyndaf (imp) x Mariana Lodge Highlight) is a stunning little chestnut ticked Welsh Section A Gelding, bred by Mrs Leonie Tooby of Glenview stud, in Launching Place in Victoria. Zack was purchased with a view for showing, and a future childs ridden pony, and the temperament in this little man - well, we just couldnt ask for anything better. We are hoping this year with the lifting of the Equine Influenza bans, that we can enter some shows with him, and have a really good kickstart to the show season.
Our newest addition at Shaelum Lane, and hopefully to be a wonderful contributor to our show success and a future pony for led and ridden classes is Glynyarra Park Deacon. We have nicknamed the little 7 month old Deac for a paddock name, and couldnt be more pleased with the little guy already, even though he is yet to learn alot of what he will need to go out to show. Deac was bred by Michele and Ian Baker of Glynyarra Park in Moyarra, by Glynyarra Kristian out of Glynyarra Park Duchess (SOD: Fronbach Tywysog Cymru (imp) x Trentlyn Dilys). Photos and information will be updated as this little fella grows and has of course started attending shows.
