Shrine of the Magnum Opus

For the aspirant of the sacred science...

Welcome to the Shrine of the Magnum Opus

Welcome, guest, to the shrine of the Magnum Opus, the Great Work. What you see here is a journal of sorts, a personal record of mine. I am a magician, or at least I'd like to think of myself as one. This blog is my private compilation of important notices in the quite large world of occultism, and I shall no doubt add more to it as time goes on. Here one will see many articles on the art of magic, both for theory and application. The worthy aspirant may be so inclined as to read my words and perhaps learn from them, as is my hope. For above all else, magic is an art that will bring oneself closer to Divine Providence. Who am I? I am no one. I am merely a single magician on the path to the end, I am nothing more.  All that I believe, I believe for a specific reason, because I have tested it against the proverbial fire and it has proven strong and reliable. I cannot say I am a humble man, or even acknowledge myself as such, for that would counteract any amounts humility I may possess. I think of myself as a man with purpose, who is jogging the road to spiritual enlightenment. Magic is not the only way, and probably not the easiest, indeed, it may be one of the most complicated, however it is the path I have chosen, and the one that rests well with my soul. For truly, all spiritualists live by the word and action of their soul, that they may be closer with themselves and God. I am inherently of no religion, as I find religion to personally be unworthy of my path. This may or may not be true for others, however it is my firm belief that all spiritualists must one day separate from the religion they were brought up in to walk their own path. I shall go over quite a large amount of my knowledge here, but the seeker of wisdom shall find nothing, as wisdom cannot be taught or learned, it can only be found. If you wish to read my words, read them with the mind of one who defines his world not by the cold hard skepticism of material science, and not with the mind of one who accepts all that he is told without any personal thinking. Nay, choose for yourself the middle path, and take my words but if you choose to prove them or dispute them, then before you do so test them. May the road you travel be filled with light, and may the darkness of the hardships bay and flee at your inner fire...
