Likes:
Mundane Disguises – It’s rather delightful to disguise oneself up like an inferior modern day civilian, only to trick people into giving their very souls away. This like has something to do with Iblis’ general contempt toward modern-day humans, because he views them as simple-minded. It’s a bit like tricking a cat by attaching a stick to its tail and hanging a mouse by it, so the cat can never get it – Iblis thinks of mundane disguises as an enjoyable way to trick human beings, and a useful tool in his mission of revenge on Chaos.
New Shitennou – Despite some of their more abhorrent flaws, Iblis rather adores the new Shitennou that he commands; they aren’t as smarmy and rebellious as their masters. Sure, they fail sometimes and they’re a pain in general, but they’re also still fairly young (in his eyes) and moldable – maybe, with any luck, he can undo the damage their masters did!
Battle – What better way to get some rage out than beat up on some senshi? Iblis isn’t really an inherently violent guy, but he does enjoy battle; it makes life interesting, and it’s also (in his mind) a necessity for change (like a “you can’t have peace without war” thing). It’s also a great way to put his training to use, not to mention that over a year (Negaverse time) of being trapped in the Dark Kingdom can make one a bit restless for action.
Subway Rides – Okay, Iblis has to give modern civilization SOME credit; subway rides are rather enjoyable. The feel of gravity pulling against him in subway trains makes Iblis rather ecstatic. A thrill seeker at heart, Iblis loves the feeling that he is about to fall one way, then another – he enjoys holding no poles on subway rides and trying to balance his weight without them. He also views this as a strange way of training to understand gravity more. Subway rides are probably a bad like for Iblis to have; after all, when someone on the subway sees a grown man acting with such glee at something so simple, they’re bound to get more than a little suspicious…
Dislikes:
Endymion – The man that refused Beryl’s love, the man that indirectly caused Beryl’s death, the lover of Iblis’ once-greatest enemy, Sailor Moon – how could Iblis not hate someone like this? Truth be told, Iblis is more than a little jealous of Endymion’s ability to win Queen Beryl’s love, and wants to kill Endymion before doing anything else.
Women – Without Beryl in the world, all women seem repulsive to Iblis. The man’s rather misogynistic, which probably has something to do with the fact that the people he hates the most (sailor senshi) are mainly women, minus Endymion. He believes women to be weak, emotional, and too pure-minded for their own good, which is why he’s grateful to be working with other men in the New Shitennou. In his eyes, the sailor senshi do not deserve the power that they were given because they are women; clearly, if they were men, they would have used their power to defeat Chaos and not simply claim that it was undefeatable, yes? (Rather, that’s how Iblis thinks, anyway)
Cats – Not only are cats overall obnoxious, useless creatures in Iblis’ mind, but they also are responsible for helping the sailor senshi. A cat is such a worthless creature; what good can it do? Granted, Iblis finds most animals to be rather useless, but he feels that cats in particular do no good to anyone; at least dogs can guard their masters. Beyond clawing obnoxiously at an attacker’s face, what good are cats? This dislike of cats probably has something to do with an experience he had in his childhood where a cat scratched him a bit too hard, but Iblis would never admit that a cat actually HURT him.
Manners – Cut the crap. Iblis isn’t exactly a crass or impolite man, but he certainly is a bit blunt, and gets upset when people use politeness with him instead of flat-out saying what they think. Hit him hard and fast – don’t bullshit him with a bunch of “pleases” and “thank you’s.” It’s not that he’ll go on a tirade if someone is mannerly with him, but it will certainly irk him until the point where he goes “ENOUGH ALREADY.”

Goals: What does your character want to accomplish in life?
Good points:
Powerful – Make no mistakes; Iblis is certainly a force to be reckoned with in battle. Having trained almost all of his life to be Beryl’s bodyguard, he is quite the foe in any combat-related situation. While his magic attacks may be considered to be less than fatal, his physical combat abilities more than make up for it. After all, the soldier that managed to defeat Sailor Moon must be rather powerful, right?
Decisive – Once Iblis has made a decision about something, he sticks with it to the end. Not one to mince words, Iblis is very much an “act now, talk later” type of guy. He hates wasting time, and gets to the point in all of his decisions. The leader of the New Shitennou knows what he wants and WILL get it.
Diligent – With his "no shit" attitude, Iblis gets straight to the point, and ensures that his Shitennou do the same. He has no qualms about slapping around his comrades if they refuse to do what he says, and he will not tolerate failure. He has noticed that Beryl's downfall came partially because she killed her own troops, a mistake he refuses to repeat, BUT that doesn't mean he's above discipline. Oh, we will get souls, yes we will.
Flaws:
Obsessive – Iblis is very much obsessed with vengeance. Sure, he may claim that his main objective is to obliterate Chaos, but secretly, he wants to destroy the sailor senshi before doing anything else. This intense desire to see the sailor senshi be destroyed causes him to make some impulsive decisions; if it appears that Iblis sees a way that a goal is obtainable, he might ignore all other obstacles in order to obtain it.
Insecure – Having failed his former Queen, Iblis still feels more than a little guilty. His failure has led him to question his own abilities at his weakest moments; this doesn’t happen often, but when it does happen (i.e. after a massive failure), you can bet that Iblis will feel too upset to take any real action for the next few days. He blames himself too much on the failures around him, and this causes him to doubt himself quite a bit.
Bitter – Grudge is Iblis’ middle name. The clearest example of this is his hatred for the sailor senshi; rather than let it go and realize that Chaos was truly at fault for the death of his queen, Iblis keeps those who are the easiest targets in sight of his malice. True to his sphere of influence, Iblis is a rather spiteful person; when others do things that upset him, he will treat them quite horribly, to the point of abuse, until they practically beg him for forgiveness.
Personality:
Overview:
Iblis is, in a word, moody. The guy broods like it's his job. He believes he is justified in his actions, despite the fact that he is mostly motivated by petty things like revenge. The guy has a bad habit of making everything personal, and then, rather than crying about it, spitting in peoples' faces about it. He has a certain deadly charisma about him - the kind that says "Back up, don't touch me, I can kill you." He is fairly intimidating, but behind this is a man who is full of self-doubt for failing to not only serve and protect his Queen, but also for failing to win her love. He is harsh, mean, sarcastic, but the product of emotional wounds and self-hatred.
Self-Image:
Iblis is incredibly spiteful of himself. Nothing about him is ever good enough for him; he got a soul in battle today? Why didn't he get three, or five, or more? Rather than be proactive and figure out what he did wrong to improve, he'll just brood about it and beat himself up over it until he yells at everyone else to avoid facing himself anymore. The man believes that, because he failed terribly once, he has to make up for it by destroying everything in his path. When this fails, rather than picking himself up and dusting himself off, he withdraws into self-loathing and brooding for a good day before getting so pissed off that he needs to take it out on someone else - either one of his Shitennou, or (more likely) an enemy or random civilian. He tries desperately to seem big to others, to hide the fact that he feels incredibly small in a world that's out to embarrass him. He's basically got the self-image of the bully at your high school.
Motives:
Mainly, Iblis' motive is to show the world how much he doesn't suck. Note the wording here: He doesn't just want to show people that he's great, but more importantly, he wants to show those people that he is not a failure. Believing that the world is out to get him, he creates a barrier of intimidation around himself to avoid having to deal with everything and appear less than invincible. He truly, deeply wants revenge against the senshi because of this, and revenge upon Endymion for the same reason.
Frankly, Iblis doesn't care all that much about Chaos. To him, it wasn't Chaos that stabbed his lover in the chest, it was Sailor Venus, and while this is true, as usual, Iblis conveniently misses the big picture so that he doesn't need to blame himself; it was Chaos that caused events to unfold in the way that they did, but all Iblis sees is, "That chick in the mini-skirt killed mah woman! Grr!" He is very much motivated by the things that he believes will most easily alleviate his failure, and defeating Chaos would only acknowledge that yes, Chaos was the real enemy all along and yes, he failed to notice that when it mattered the most. Truth be told, somewhere deep, deep down inside of him, Iblis knows that it was mostly not the fault of the senshi that Chaos messed things up, but he refuses to acknowledge that; instead, he focuses on the most immediate goal, which is killing the senshi.
General Interaction:
Around those he's just met, Iblis is actually somewhat restrained. He isn't exactly mannerly - you'll never hear "please" or "thank you" come from his mouth - but he's certainly not terribly rude; he won't outright tell you he hates you. Still, he'll do little, subtle things to show that seething rage beneath him, like, "Oh, you're certainly looking small today - are you eating right?" These tiny snippets are less about being spiteful toward you as they are about establishing his authority, because to him, power with an acquaintance is more important than a combative nature. If he's more powerful than someone, he can't fail, yes? Yes.
Around senshi, Iblis is ruthless. He cuts at every single thing he can think of to piss them off, from their immediate appearance, to what he knows about their past lives, to what he's seen in the present - you name it, he'll say it. Still, if a senshi were to retort with something that truly stings him (like, oh say, Beryl), Iblis will try his best to control his rage, though it will be fairly obvious in his manner of speech and his actions, and he will become even harsher and meaner. The man refuses to play, and if you egg him on enough (about, say, three truly seething insults), prepare for a physical onslaught the likes of which you've never seen.
Personal Interaction:
With his Shitennou, Iblis is sarcastic and mean, but never seething. Unlike with senshi, it's obvious that Iblis doesn't mean most of his insults as provocations with his Shitennou, but more as teasing. He doesn't want to actually enrage his Shitennou, just knock them up a bit (verbally), partially to keep them in line, and partially to (in his mind) boost comradery. Think of this in a brotherly fashion - half-bully, half-friend. Still, he isn't constantly joking to his Shitennou - when doling out orders, he's strictly business, and doesn't mince insults. He'll just tell you what you need to do, and expect you to do it. The insults mostly happen outside of those orders, when simply discussing some topic with the Shitennou.
When alone, Iblis broods and ponders. Usually, his brooding is terrible, filled with angry scowls and staring at himself in a blind rage in the mirror. He'll think up horrible insults to throw at himself in a verbal suicide, before just getting so pissed at himself that he needs to stalk off and do something else - either train, yell at someone, or grab a soul. Frankly, his brooding would probably be funny to anyone walking in, because it's like his butt just NEVER unclenches.
Appearance:
Face: Dark green, small almond shaped eyes are surrounded by thick, long eyelashes and dark, thick brows that have a small angle to them. His nose and ears are small, and Iblis’ lips are pale pink. With a dark, tanned complexion and smooth skin, Iblis’ face is rather attractive – until one realizes that it is usually in a stern scowl, with his brows furrowed.
Hair: Thick and jet black, Iblis’ hair falls limply to the bottom of his neck. Normally, though, he prefers to keep it in a very small pony tail beginning at the midpoint of his neck (the pony tail is just a bit larger than a rat tail, because his hair is thick and slightly longer than that). Usually, the ponytail is tied with a chartreuse band.
Build: Standing at a moderate 5’8”, Iblis is about average height for a man his (apparent) age. Muscular and fit, Iblis is the vision of a worn warrior; several scars line his upper torso, the most prominent ones including a thin line from his left shoulder to his naval, and a scar from his right wrist to his elbow. His face, though, has only one scar, which runs from the outer corner of his left eye to his left ear.
Voice: A dark, dramatic tenor voice makes Iblis seem slightly less scary than his other features, though he tries to speak lower than his voice is (it doesn’t help his insecurity). The man has never sung a note in his life, and if he were to actually sing he would have a similar singing voice to his speaking voice. Iblis speaks slowly but enunciates quite clearly; his vowels are very open and he flips most of his R’s, his accent making him sound rather high class.
Clothing: Iblis prefers dark colors in his civilian form, and is rarely seen without his uniform on in his Shitennou form. Green, blue, and dark red are among his favorite colors to wear, and even in the summer he can be found in long-sleeved shirts and pants; the man hates to expose his arms and legs (which is probably for the best; if people saw some of his scars they’d probably be more than a little wary). In the winter, Iblis wears sweaters and hats; in the summer, he prefers light-weight long-sleeved shirts. Somehow, heat doesn’t get to him as it would most people.
History:
Way back in the Silver Millenium days, a baby boy named Ilvaite was brought into the world, the child of loving noble parents. Sure, his mom and dad weren't necessarily Prince Endymion's bosom-buddies (that title belonged to the then-Shitennou), but they were easily within his Outer Court. Things worked a bit differently on Earth, and unlike Queen Serenity's Outer Court (who protected the galaxy from threats outside of it), the Earth's Outer Court basically just went to balls and raised a stink whenever taxes went up - in other words, they only achieved their position by being Really Rich. Still, Ilvaite's parents were on good terms with the Prince.
From the time he was born, Ilvaite seemed to be a rather active child. Sometimes he was almost violent, but it was usually in the way that most young boys are typically violent - make-believe games like Knights and Thieves, play-fighting his friends, having a near-enraged enthusiasm for seemingly everything, all ordinary things for an energetic child. Most people that knew him would have never suspected he'd actually become what he eventually grew to be.
Even Endymion, who was known to have a certain gift for psychometry, didn't see Ilvaite's dark future coming. In fact, the two would often play together as children, but as Endymion grew older and was forced to remain in the company of the new children that had been pre-determined to guard him (Kunzite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Jadeite), Ilvaite was somewhat forced out of the picture. The boy grew slightly resentful of the Prince, but his parents encouraged him to begin training in the art of combat, hoping that maybe one day he would be good enough to be a part of the Inner Court, should the need arise for another soldier (and of course, bring more pride to them).
As the years went on, though, Endymion seemed to be perfectly comfortable with his new friends. Ilvaite felt as though he'd never had a chance to be as close to Endymion as the other four boys had, and he felt as if they all must be laughing at him somewhere, taking amusement at the fact that he was of slightly lower rank than them. He couldn't fathom why he felt such malicious emotions, but he tried to hide them, instead focusing on the combat training his parents had him take.
When Ilvaite had turned 15, he and Endymion were barely on speaking terms anymore, but he still had a desperate hope that his friend would come back to him. Indeed, when Endymion approached him with an offer at military employment, Ilvaite was hoping very much that he would be selected as a Shitennou. Not realizing that a fifth Shitennou would be quite contradictory to the very definition of the word, Ilvaite was shocked and angered when Endymion instead assigned him to be the bodyguard of the Royal Oracle, Beryl.
Bitter that his friend had now fully turned on him (and assigned him to such a dismal post, no less!), Ilvaite's final hope at friendship became full resentment. He accepted the job begrudgingly, and only at the insistence of his parents (who were, of course, in it only for the slight status boost). As part of his duty, Ilvaite was forced to live with Beryl, which only made him resent her a bit. Truthfully, Beryl didn't have much time to worry about Ilvaite, as she was busy making premonitions for the rest of the kingdom (not to mention, she was about four years his senior) and harboring a secret love for Prince Endymion.
Ilvaite and Beryl had a strained relationship, to say the best. They rarely spoke, were only ever in the same room together because Ilvaite's duties called him to be near her, and would somehow end up in heated debates about which one of them was more important to Endymion (which invariably ended in Ilvaite bitterly claiming that he could care less about Endymion, which was probably a flat-out lie).
Still, one day they couldn't avoid bonding any longer. In one of their heated arguments about Endymion, Ilvaite confessed that he had way too much hatred in him to like Endymion anyway. He had no idea how it had come about, but he said it without thinking. Beryl confessed that she, too, often felt that she had too much hatred in her (though she felt that it drove Endymion away from her, rather than the opposite), and that it scared her sometimes, the acts she saw herself performing in her own visions. Ilvaite, not knowing what else to say, admitted that sometimes his own feelings escaped and confused him.
Beryl, seeing the inner turmoil that her bodyguard was experiencing, made a promise with him that they would both purge themselves of these feelings, and that they were the masters of their own fate. Ilvaite promised this as well, and slowly, they became very close, though not as close as Ilvaite would have liked. Secretly, he began to harbor feelings of love for the person who had touched him in a way no one else had - by bringing out his darkest secret yet.
However, as we all know, the promise these two made to each other could not be kept. About six years later, as Endymion fell in love with Princess Serenity, as the sun glowed mysteriously with a kind of light that no one had seen before, and as Beryl's love for Endymion went on unrequited, something changed on Earth. Suddenly, the people seemed filled with a sort of envy of the moon that had only been vaguely present before then. Ilvaite especially was having difficulty suppressing the dark feelings he'd always tried to hide, and would have moments in the night when he had terrible dreams, dreams of awesome power consuming him and forcing him to perform frightening acts.
As Beryl changed as well, and began speaking of war against the Moon Kingdom, Ilvaite felt more distant from her than ever. She had one objective now; to destroy the Moon Kingdom and rule Earth with Endymion. One day, she spoke of these thoughts to Ilvaite, and he confessed that he did find the Moon Kingdom rather self-important, but that he didn't think war would be a practical solution to this dilemma. Enraged at his lack of enthusiasm, the Metallia that had consumed Beryl suddenly took her over, and in a flash used her most powerful magic on Ilvaite, sending him into a near-coma state. As his thoughts floundered in this sleep, Ilvaite's hateful emotions surrounded and consumed him as he never had before. The bits of Metallia that had seeped into him (as they had the rest of the population) were now more pronounced upon coming in contact with Beryl's magic and Metallia's rage, and when Ilvaite awoke a week later from this coma, he was no longer himself.
Now full of the hatred he'd been suppressing for so long, Ilvaite changed his name to Iblis, in the name of the rage he felt toward the Moon Kingdom. He suddenly had magical powers he'd never dreamed of before, and a thirst for blood that was equally shocking. When Beryl attacked the Moon Kingdom, Iblis was at the front lines along with the Shitennou, and when the Dark Kingdom's soldiers fell to Queen Serenity's Silver Crystal, Iblis was sent into the future, just as everyone else was. While in suspended animation, Iblis' hatred only manifested itself in further magical powers, and he awoke stronger than he'd ever been before.
Despite this newfound strength, the Dark Kingdom quickly fell once again to the Moon Kingdom, this time to its Sailor Senshi. Iblis' resentment of the Shitennou's popularity with Endymion became resentment of their incompetence during this time. In fact, the newly-appointed Shitennou King would often verbally abuse his fellow Shitennou for their lack of ability. However, even Iblis was unable to protect Beryl from the Silver Crystal's power, and was blown deep beneath the snowy landscape of the North Pole as she and Metallia were blown away.
As he slowly awakened, Iblis was unsure of how he had survived and Beryl was destroyed. Indeed, he was incredibly pained that he'd failed the only person he'd ever truly loved, and his self-hatred turned into a strong desire for revenge against the Sailor Senshi. To this day, he is spiteful of the fact that the Silver Crystal somehow spared him, and can't fathom at all why he had to survive and the most important person in his world had died. Refusing to accept his own failure, Iblis instead blamed it on the Sailor Senshi, hoping to find a way to destroy them and maybe calm his rage.
In a flash of recollection, he thought of the Shitennou, and of their apprentices. Maybe they'd survived the crash as well? As he went on a search to find them, Iblis also discovered something else. The details of what he discovered were rather fuzzy, as they came to him in a dream one night, but a vision of Endymion, Princess Serenity, and Metallia all laughing at him, and at his horrible loss, was suddenly engulfed in an odd, transparent flame, and his own voice spoke to him; "Consumption will set souls free." Somehow, he understood what this meant, as if it'd been a secret he'd known his entire life; find souls for Consumption, and gain revenge on Chaos and the Sailor Senshi, those who destroyed your dreams.
In about a year, Iblis managed to find all of the Shitennou's apprentices, and quickly set up base in the Universe's North Pole, hoping that this base would be both close enough to a new, Senshi-less world for soul-picking and close enough to the Sailor Senshi he wanted to gain his vengeance upon. Luckily for him, the Negaverse Senshi plopped before his eyes in only a week, and even more luckily, some piece of him warned him of exactly where Sailor Moon herself would land. He was completely unsure what piece of him this was, but it seemed to come from the same place that all his inexplicable (but now-welcome, thanks to Metallia's corruption) hatred had originated from. That night, he killed Sailor Moon, but somehow, he felt unappeased. He still wasn't satisfied, and he convinced himself that he would only be happy when all those who had Beryl's blood on their hands were accounted for. Only when Endymion, the Sailor Senshi, and Chaos were gone would he be truly happy...surely...
Current Situation:
Iblis currently lives mainly in the Universe North Pole, biding his time and waiting to harvest souls when he can. He also takes residence in a rather large apartment in the center of Tokyo (where he has plenty of access to subways!), which he can easily afford with his salary as a Relationship Counselor (and the money he steals off of the people he kills). He is loving life now that he's killed Sailor Moon, but of course, he is still as enraged and desperate for souls (Senshi souls especially) as ever, so let's go, Shitennou! XD

Attacks
Name: Weight of Malice
Effect: Iblis lifts his right hand, and calls out “Weight!” Clenching his left hand into a fist, he shouts “of,” and then bringing them together at his sternum (slapping his fist with his right hand), he says, “Malice!” This attack causes whoever Iblis targets (one person, and he doesn’t need eye contact) to be crushed by gravity based on how much that person hates Iblis. If that person has encountered Iblis before and has grown to hate him a lot, then they will feel as if an immense weight is upon them, being thrown to the ground and pushed into the floor. If they do not hate Iblis, then they will feel little more than a slight weight on their shoulders.
Restrictions: This attack can be used three times in battle. The effect can last between 10 to 30 seconds; the longer Iblis keeps it held, the less frequently he can use it. In a one-on-one battle with Iblis, this attack basically means that Iblis has all but won, unless the person he’s fighting doesn’t hate him. In a group battle, this attack may actually be a bad thing for Iblis, because it means he must focus on one person and not the group. Iblis can still move about the battlefield while this attack is in effect, but he must keep his hands in the same position and he must keep his concentration fully on his opponent.
Name: Hatred Sphere
Effect: Iblis clasps his hands together at chest-level, holding them away from his body. Closing his eyes, a chartreuse sphere appears in his hands, and as he lifts it into the air he calls out the first word. Upon spiking the ball toward his opponent, he shouts the second word, and the ball is charged with all of Iblis' hatred. This means that whoever is hit by the ball will be hurt based on how much Iblis hates them. If Iblis is only mildly irritated with them (re: Crisis Senshi), the ball will just feel like a punch to whatever body part it hits. However, if Iblis truly loathes the person (Negaverse Senshi, Inners in particular), then it will be extremely damaging, and probably force the target to dehenshin or even kill the target if they're extremely tired. This is the attack Iblis used to kill Sailor Moon.
Restrictions: Iblis can only use this attack twice per battle, so he must be careful when he uses it. In addition, while the ball does travel slightly faster than a volleyball would when spiked, it isn't terribly difficult to dodge, especially if a senshi sees it coming. Shielding spells will work wonders on it; as long as the ball doesn't come in contact with a person (aka even if the senshi just grabs a trash can lid as a shield), then it will bounce away harmlessly.
Youma: Jinn
Sphere: Envy
Appearance: In his natural form, Jinn is sort of like some awful parody of Jafar’s genie mode in Aladdin. His body is entirely red with three vertical streaks of chartreuse running down his chest (talk about hideous!). His eyes are actually blue, and his hair is one thick orange spike standing on the top of his otherwise bald skull. His body is rippling with muscles, but he’s really not as strong as he appears. One good slug from, say, Misora or Tai, and he’d probably be all but vanquished. His physical strength is sacrificed for magical power (which we’ll get to later). Anyway, his legs are clad in black pants with yellow cuffs at the bottom, and where his feet would be, there is a small cloud of smoke, similar to a dust cloud. Jinn has the ability to turn into red smoke, but the transformation takes too much concentration to be able to perform on-the-spot in battle – he mainly uses this ability to travel undetected.
Personality: Jinn is the big brother that Iblis never wanted. Mischievous and sly, he is excellent at figuring out exactly what it is that will irritate someone the most. Unfortunately, he can also tell what will make someone happiest (sort of like a genie!), so he’s positively amazing at getting on your last nerve and then making you hate to love him again. An attention whore to the end, Jinn will not hesitate to show his rage in the form of physical punches (that are rather harmless) to get you to pay attention to him again. He may be irritating, but make no mistake about it; Jinn will follow Iblis’ order when threatened with being forced to spend time alone with any of the other Shitennou (except Bromy – they’re sort of best friends and yet rivals for Iblis’ anger) , all of whom he absolutely cannot stand.
Attack
Name: Jealousy Wish
Effect: Jinn raises both hands in the air and calls out the attack name, and jabs the ground with his fists. Just before they make contact, they turn to red smoke that covers a 10-foot radius. Anyone caught in the smoke will immediately feel envy at a higher level than they ever have before. If this person has ever been jealous of a friend, their feelings of envy will be heightened and they will turn on that friend. At the least envious, they will refuse to help that friend and probably call them mean names. At the most envious, they will attack that friend, and any others that they have ever envied.
Restrictions: Because this attack is so strong, Jinn can only use it once. Its range is relatively small, and he must be in that range when he initiates the attack, meaning that in addition to himself, only about three other people can be in the circle that is affected at once. Also, this attack depends fully on the person he's targeting and their tendency to envy others: On someone like Izumi, this attack is devastating, and will lead to her going bersek on all of her teammates, but on someone like Mitsuko, it will probably do little more than darken her spirits, if that. Furthermore, this attack can backfire if someone envies one of their enemies, and if the target is typically passive but envious of an opponent, it might turn an otherwise harmless senshi into a full-on attacking force. And, of course, this attack can hit allies as well, so Jinn needs to be rather careful. One last thing: Jinn loses his hands for as long as this attack is going, and in their place are two puffs of smoke. The attack lasts around a minute unless someone is particularly weak-willed, in which case it lasts for a minute and a half.
