What the Hell is this?!
Well, I answered that question on the front page, but here's a more in-depth look at me, why I started this page, and other such pointless rambling.
First, the name: "Why 'Shoujo Rebel?'" you might ask. Well, "Shoujo" is a genre of Japanese anime targeted toward girls, though some Shoujo is more "girly" than others. Sailor Moon is an example of Shoujo anime, and one of the more popular ones (if not the most). The reason I named the site "Shoujo Rebel" is because I am a boy who likes Sailor Moon, which is hugely Shoujo. I find this to be a bit rebellious, even though I myself would never claim to be a rebel in another sense of the word because I find labeling oneself as excessively unique to be wholly pretentious.
Another reason I named the site "Shoujo Rebel" is because the characters described on it (at least, so far) all belong to Sailor Moon, Shoujo RPG's, but more importantly, all of them are rebels in some way. Some of the characters are more subtly rebellious than others, but I've found in recent years that all of my characters have a common thread of rebellion in them. You could say that any character with conflict in their history at all could be labeled as rebellious, or that any character at ALL can be labeled as rebellious, but I suppose the question of how rebellious a character is is up to the reader.
In any case, I am a college student who simply rediscovered his love for a great series that he enjoyed in his childhood and had since abandoned. I started this page to further express that, but in a creative way. I wanted a page to house my Sailor Moon-based characters, and a place to generally express myself more freely than say, my blog.
