Hello to all!!
Yes, yes, I know updates are sorely needed. I have gone through some personal changes in my life over the past 6 months that has kept me from much. My head is back to where it should be, so, I have gotten the emails and seen the guestbook, fear not, updates are on the way.
I am currently waiting on Sensei to make some changes, update info on students etc and as soon as I get them I will post them. Much of what is here is put through Sensei's ok first, so sometimes patience is a must. This site will always strive to be 100% accurate.
This is the new home of Okinawan Shorinji via Sensei Osborne. Shorinji.net is down and out and is not endorsed by Sensei. I am not going to get into the logistics of this, just know it to be true. This site will not in anyway shape or form tolerate politics and BS that seems to follow karate-ka across the net.
Condolences from the entire Shorinji family go out to the family of Sensei Charlie Contreras who died recently of a heart attack in Phoenix. Contreras Sensei was a friend to Oz Sensei and they knew each other for many years. I am conducting research at this time into the background of Sensei and will post a memorial page in his honor with pictures and bio as soon as I can. Any information in regards to his life, time in karate or an obituary would be welcome.
