Who is Shoq T. Clown? I thought you might ask, Shoq T. Clown is a funny clown. More than that he is a Face Painting Clown AND a game genius!
It all started when I was a little one... (WARNING: Entering Flashback, Please keep all arms and legs in the vehicle.) I always wanted to entertain people. It started with my passion for magic kits. Then as I grew up more it turned into collecting costumes. Then I got into theatre and acting classes. I found out that Clowning was what I enjoyed. Next I was destined to find someone to teach me everything I needed to know! I went to the local library, searched for information online and just read about every piece of text I could read. Then I found my mentor (who was an COAI artist resident in 2000-2002, Taught at a WCA Convention and was a Education Director for WCA)! She taught me everything (with the help of her book) I needed to know. The learning process is NEVER over so I will always be stuck in the books. That is what makes me one of the best in the area!
