Really sorry to hear about your dad. I am a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Dublin Fire Brigade, Ireland. I've an uncle Stationed in kearny,NJ in fire house 2. all the to you will send you a t-shirt and patch.
I'm really sorry about your dad.I was checking out your pics...so your dads fire house was the one on the Ave. huh? My dad was firefighter for Kearny too. They probably knew each other. My Name is Juan & I am a new Fire Fighter on the Kearny Fire Dept. I never met your dad but I heard tons of great stories about him. He will always be remembered at KFD & will forever be in our hearts. I would just like to say that reading your letter brought tears to my eyes. You dad was a great man & Fire Fighter. I wish I would have had a chance to meet him. Obviously you prob have a bunch of KFD Shirts but if there's any shirts you dont have I will be more than happy to find them, get them, make them, whatever means necessary. Whether they are from our department or any department. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
