SHOK MODEL MANAGEMENT TEAM!

THE SHOK TEAM - A REAL TAG-TEAM FORCE!

It is exciting to know what makes the SHOK Agency and it's Management Team such a powerful force in the business of modeling, acting, advertising, and entertainment.

This amazing company is structured and ran by childhood friends and former professional models Camille Bailey and Cindy LaChapelle.  In a time of automated systems, voice mail, and busy schedules, this dynamic duo choose the more "hands on" approach to management.  SHOK is like a family and the models and talent are treated like "people" instead of "numbers."  It is to the advantage of this pair as Bailey and LaChapelle are known to work closely with newcomers to develop and prepare them for the industry at large.
Management at SHOK is serious, stable, organized, fresh, fun, and informative. Learning is kept to a maximum as no question is considered a foolish one.  This approach eases the newcomer in and allows them the time to grasp all that is necessary.
SHOK's Management team is in touch with the youth of yesterday and today which makes them more flexible. SHOK has the ability to think outside the box with respects to signing new talent while conforming to the industry's expectations.

                              A "MODEL" TEAM

Camille Bailey and Cindy LaChapelle were both busy with modelling and acting in the mid eighties while attending school.  They each worked with many clients including Timex, Bennetton, E.Lee Fashions, Bridal Fashions, Sick Children's Hospital, Simpson's Department Store, The Bay, Models-On Line, Brother Equipment, Fairweathers, Harlequin Books, Gottterdamerung, City T.V., Bysos, Paparazzi Night Club, and the ABA's just to name a few.

At the time of the "Amazons" these two proved that modelling was about much more than height. Bailey and LaChapelle executed countless photoshoots and creative tests helping budding photographers to build their portfolios.  The ability to work with various people and to be used to working on sets has allowed Bailey and LaChapelle to mature and graduate as a management team.

Modelling for them both has concluded to be an exciting, challenging, and an amazing experience which highlights include travelling to New York City, and appearing in Elle Magazine.

                ACTION  "BEHIND" THE CAMERA.

.As if it were not enough to have years of modelling and acting experience, Bailey and LaChapelle a.k.a. "The Photogirls" have been a professional Photography and Makeup Artist team for the past 10 yrs.  They have worked with many models who later went to the top of the business to become "names" you know in the industry.  It will amaze you to know that they are both self-taught especially when you see the work they produce.

Bailey and LaChapelle have the personalities and attitudes  to make anyone and everyone comfortable being photographed and this assists  them in capturing the most powerful images.  Their work has appeared in Model Portfolios, Websites, and Magazines.

Bailey and LaChapelle noticed how choosy and specific clients needs were as former models and so they embarked on a professional photography and makeup artistry venture to bring SHOK ahead of its competition.  This has proved to be advantageous as this team is able to re-image and re-market anyone at anytime. If it isn't working,  Bailey and LaChapelle can fix it.

The preparation process is unique and intense as this team spends time training, and counseling prospects so they are ready for the challenges ahead.  It is hard to tell who is new from who is not when you see the work this team produces.  When a model enters a studio session with Bailey and LaChapelle, the experience is one that is sure to have the prospect fully engaged and submerged into what a photo session is, what it means to be directed, as well as individual advantages that prospect may posses. They do not let you get away with just "pretty" pictures.  For this duo, being able to take "pretty" pictures is certainly not enough.  A professional needs to know what they are doing while catering to the clients needs.

Bailey and LaChapelle use the photoshoot as the ultimate training ground and as a means to a very lucrative end. With modelling and acting experience in their back pockets, Bailey and LaChapelle are aware of the concerns and apprehensions of a new prospect.  Therefore, they are best able to explain what a newcomer needs to do to become successful from a more empathetic perspective than many other agents and managers in this field.
