Shockwave: Circle City Superhero

Shockwave is a Real Life Superhero (RLS) based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. While most RLS don’t have any “real” powers like you see in the comics, Shockwave does have one ability. He can hear dog whistles.

This became the building block that Shockwave made his comic book superhero from. With enhanced hearing, the ability to fly at the speed of sound, total control over the volume of noise, and a scream that can crumble a building, Shockwave has dedicated himself to helping protect Indianapolis from the threats ranging from petty crimes to alien invasions.

But, what does the “real” Shockwave do? Well he helps the city in more minor ways. Shockwave helps with fundraising events for charities such as the JDRF and Toys for Tots. While these activities may not be considered “heroic” by some people, Shockwave feels that helping kids and those less fortunate than himself is the best way to make the world a better place.
