Thanks to everyone who came down and heard us play at the Courthouse. It was a blast!!

Thanks so much to all of our friends and family for coming out to hear us play at Common Grounds. It was a great experience and really gave us a chance to branch out and try some different stuff. It was a lot of fun. Thanks!!!

Yeah...I think we forgot to update it, but in case you were wondering, we played a battle of the bands at Southland Christian Church with the Generix, OFR, Station 313, and some others. Thanks a lot to everyone who came out, we had a blast!

The coffee house is ROCKING.  We've had some fabulous young and talented musicians lining up to play at Marcelle's.  Shivas Irons put on an amazing performance last weekend.  These boys won 2nd place in the battle of the bands at Dunbar High School and believe me, they deserved it and more.  Polished and professional, they played a multitude of instrumental originals and then went on to dazzle us with songs from artists such as Led Zeppelin and Lynard Skynard.  Do you recall "FreeBird?"  The band went from jamming hard rock leads with precision to a sit down on the floor (yes, they all sat on the floor!) magical and haunting session of fusion rock and jazz where each member had an opportunity to showcase their individual talents.  Don't miss them again.  They are coming back for an encore performance July 8th for the downtown Twilight Festival.__

Shivas Irons was asked back by Marcelle's on Main for another show as part of the Twilight Festival on July 8th. Thanks to all who came out and saw us. Hopefully we might play there again in August, more updates later, adios and enjoy the site!

We placed second out of ten bands at the Dunbar Battle of the Bands.  WE GOT A TROPHY!!  We were the only freshman band who played. Thanks to all who supported us!
