CLAMP is a four-woman mangaka group; the mangaka who created the series Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle and whole lot of others. They started out as doujinshi artists, until their work was noticed by a magazine company and asked to draw for them. They became mangaka in 1989; their first series being RG Veda. Their first mass breakout hit was Magic Knight Rayearth, while Cardcaptor Sakura became the #1 shoujo manga series in Japan.
