I have a chocolate roan show type Cocker Spaniel (dog). His name is Spud and I got him from a breeder in Bromley, Julia Hall--a nice lady.
Spud was born on 23rd November 2004. He is healthy and happy and is such a gentle and affectionate dog that he has many lady (human) admirers. He is, in particular, close to my cleaning lady, Teresa, and a close friend, Linda. He walks long distances each day on Wimbledon Common, Wandsworth Park and Richmond Park. He has a pretty idyllic life and rewards everyone he meets with trusting friendliness. He loves to please and is very well-behaved, except when he sees a puddle, at which point he looks at me, I say 'no' in my most authoritative voice and he looks at me once more (smiles, if dogs could smile) and jumps into the puddle anyway.
I get a very good feeling from your site and would like to think that one day there will be an orange roan for me. Happy environments breed happy dogs.
In the photograph you can see Spud, my friend, Linda and another friend's blue roan Cocker, called Bingley.
