My name is Shirley Ruth Caron, I'm 57 years old and I reside on the South side of Indianapolis, Indiana with my loving Husband, Mike. We have a wonderful relationship, and we will have been Married for ten years on August 19, 2005. We are proud to say, that we attend The Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and we are Ministers of Hospitality and Poets Of The Parish. It has been a very difficult life financial wise. My Husband, Mike, had a Triple Heart Bypass about ten years ago, and he has only been able to do very little lifting, which is usually asked for in any job(especially in a Restaurant). He has been a Cook for forty years, and has mostly worked in Restaurants, but, he is now Retired at the age of 63. I am so happy to have him with me 24 hours a day! I, myself, have not been able to go out to work much at all over the years because of my health. I have had Respiratory problems all my life and it was very difficult going through School(especially in Gym Class). My Parents had to get me a Home Tutor so that I would not fall behind in my School Work. When I was 14 years old, I had a very bad fall and banged my head in the Cement sidewalk and I was rushed to the Hospital. The Doctor concluded that I had suffered a severe Concussion which would heal in time. I had several Black Outs and dizzy spells, and it was a very difficult time in my life. I then began having Seizures and learned that I suffered from Epilepsy. This, was of course, a devastating blow to me, as I had many plans for my future that I now realized would not transpire. I have two steel rods in my Spine from a Factory Injury a long, long, time ago, I almost lost my Right Leg when it got crushed by the Car that struck me back in 1985, I have Osteoporosis, Asthma, problems with my Esophagus, I had a Stomach Bypass a long time ago and have never been hooked back up, problems with fear and anxiety and I suffer with Epilepsy. |

I thank God every day for bringing Mike into my life! He has been and always will be my true love forever, and he has been my happiness and has given me a lot of reasons to laugh and smile. The incidents that have happened in my past, before I met Mike, caused me reason to start writing my thoughts and feelings down on paper. I had thought that no one would be interested in my writings, but, Mike encouraged me to send them into different Poetry Contests. I am very proud and honored to say, that I have received a lot of recognition from several different Poetry Oranizations, such as: The International Society of Poets, The National Library of Poetry, Creative Arts & Science Enterprises, Inc., World of Poetry, Sparrowgrass, Watermark Press, Iliad Press, Noble House(a Poetry Division)in London, England and a few more. All this inspiration helped me to forget about the hardships I went through with my Epileptic Seizures. I found that keeping my mind busy and having someone to love and support me were extremely important. When I start trembling and my body moves out of control, Mike holds me close, whispers to me and helps me through the Seizure. I have about seven different types of Seizures, and sometimes, there is nothing he can do for me. Epilepsy is a dreadful Disease that takes over and controls your body and mind. Each time that I have a Seizure, it takes Oxygen from my Brain. There are times that I remember my Seizures and what I went through, and other times, I am so disoriented, that it takes me a couple of days to recuperate from the Seizures. I am on Medication for my Epilepsy and I have been for several years, but, my system has become prone to it. The Doctor has tried a couple of other Medications for me, but, they did not agree with me. I had felt for the longest time that there is just no hope for me, but, with my strong faith in God and daily Prayer to Him, He has given me hope and strength and determination to strive for a bright and prosperous future. |

| Despite the hardships with my Epilepsy, I have worked hard at becoming the special person that I have always dreamed of becoming(a Famous Celebrity)! For the past three years, I have gone from being a Renowned Poet to a County/Gospel Songwriter. In 1992, I was inducted into The International Poetry Hall of Fame, and I am still receiving several High Achievement Awards from different Poetry Organizations. I have had a Record Contract with Emerald Records for four years, and my Producer is Cliff Ayres(Owner/Producer)of Emerald Records in Nashville, Tennessee! He is a very famous Singer, and one of his most popular Songs back in the 50's is: "My Blue Heaven." Cliff also owns Entertainer Network, Entertainer Indi-Association, and Emerald Records Studio. In 1986, Cliff was inducted into The Big Band Hall of Fame for his work with The Tommy Dorsey Band, The Jimmy Dorsey Band and Count Basie. He has had an illustrial Career and is still going strong. I am very proud and honored to be associated with him. I have two Songs that have been published: "Time"(Country/Gospel)Song, sung by Clayton Holmes from Nashville, and "A Touch of Beauty"(a beautiful, sentimental)Song, sung by Cliff Ayres himself as only he could sing. I have written over 100 Songs, and several of them are Gospel Songs. I have a CD available with both "Time" and "A Touch of Beauty" for only $10.00 each! I will Autograph each CD! My Husband and I are planning on having a special Fundraising Event on January 21, 2006! The Charity that we are raising funds for is The Epilepsy Foundation. We hope for this Event to be a real prosperous venture. Everyone is invited, especially those that suffer with Epilepsy and their Families! We are holding this Event to bring an Awareness to everyone about Epilepsy and what can be done for the sufferers and the way in which their Families can be of assistance to them. I want to let all people that suffer with Epilepsy to know that, YOUR WORLD HAS NOT COME TO AN END! YOUR DREAMS CAN COME TRUE! YOUR FUTURE CAN BE VERY FULFILLING AND WORTHWHILE! PRAY TO GOD, DO NOT BE AFRAID! HE IS WITH ALL OF US ALWAYS! HE WILL BE YOUR GUIDING LIGHT, TO SHINE UPON ALL OF YOU AND GUIDE YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION! HE IS YOUR STRENGTH AND DETERMINATION! OPEN UP YOUR HEART TO HIM, AND HE WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR PRAYERS! WE DO NOT HAVE TO STOP GOING FORWARD IN OUR LIVES! I, MYSELF, AM AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF MAKING DREAMS COME TRUE! We need a lot of help with this Event, so, if anyone can help us in the way of, Sponsoring, Entertainment, such as: Singing, especially, Country/Gospel/or Bluegrass, Playing Musical Instruments and helping us to find a Place to hold the Event, please feel free to Contact me. We have our own Caterer. As I mentioned in the first Paragraph, we reside on the South side of Indianapolis, Indiana(Greenwood, Indiana), and if possible, we are looking to be able to hold the Event around the Greenwood area. We could also use people that are familiar with these types of Fundraisers to form a Committee. We want to be sure that everything works out well, and that we are following all the Rules that apply.
