I would love to show you something more fun. But I decided to make a thing about cyberbullies and stuff... This is a serious subject. Everyone hates mean people. Even mean people hate mean people(Does that make sense?)! So, why does everybody go wacko over little things? The people who do are called haters, trolls, or cyberbullies. Again, everybody hates them. So, why are they so well-known to the Internet world?

Well, to start, it's because they're very common on websites that let you talk to others, such as Myspace or Youtube. They're everywhere. On Youtube, they lurk around looking for someone with interests they hate, such as Anime or Anthro Art(I like both =P). Then they go to that person and say something like "You're stupid because you like this!" or "I hate you because you're a fan of that." This usually leads to the insulted person getting angry and flaming the troll. Then it all goes back and forth until one of them ends up getting reported and suspended from the website.

Even if we don't do anything wrong, these idiots come after us anyway. Why? The most common reason from a troll is, "I do it for the lulz!" Well, first off, there is nothing funny about flaming someone else for their interests. Do you have interests? Well, of course you do! Everyone does. If no-one had a single thing that fascinates them, the world would be boring. However, would you enjoy it if someone went up to you and said whatever you like is stupid? No, you wouldn't. But the answer isn't to fight fire with fire. The answer if to block the person who is bothering you and report them to your parents and/or the website provider. Then ignore them. Just move on and keep on doing what you did before the person started targeting you. Too many of us have a habit of going bananas whenever someone insults us. It's really very sad. And what's the point? Niether side gets anything good out of it. If someone insulted Pokemon or Anime and I practically threw a fit, would I gain anything from it? No, I wouldn't. I would be getting upset over nothing....

So, to finish, we need to get more people to help us end cyberbullying. Dragonfree, the webmistress of The Cave of Dragonflies, has also made a page like this.
