Shining Nova

Well we have more activity in the suggestions section.  Fallen has  hopfully started a wave of support within the community to stimulate the need for new members.  So if you can invite any members or add to the pool of GFX please help.  We are all counting on you to help.

 Also there may be some staff/mod changes shortly to help keep the site under control.  If you have and ideas, questions, or concerns feel free to post in any of the activity topics.

 Not much is going on in the tournament section lately.  Feel free to set up any tournaments for shining or let us all know about tournaments happening around the internet.

 The last thing that I have to say is that I would like updates of some games you guys are interested in so that I can keep the gaming news section going.  I don't have a lot of time to do research myself.

-Added a shoutbox to the Site Info section.
-Added a visitor counter to the Site Info section.
-Added a Games section with a mario and sonic game. Will add a link to the arcade soon.
-Added tags for better search engine results.
-Added a description for the search results.

Latest Shining Nova News

Kura has added new folder icons:

-Moved topics have a yellow symbol if a link is left behind.
-Polls have green symbols.
-Red symbols are closed topics.
-Everything else is just a normal topic.

Also Kura has added a new pin in the News section of the forums: Sig Advertisements

Check out the topic and grab a signature to put on other sites you go to.  Also you can submit a signature for people to use!

    Well this has been a fun start to a long week!  I am OverDrive, and I still laugh at Kura for not knowing my gender.  Anyway, with some cool games coming  out shortly and the need for increased activity in the Nova forums I have started putting together a plan that I have come to call: Operation Impending Doom 3.  I'm a Invader Zim & JTHM fan if you don't catch that reference.

    Topic->Advertising

    This topic has been created for the obvious use of creating ideas for advertising.  That topic will also be the home base for Operation ID3.  Certain members will need to take part in different sections of the plan to insure that it all comes together nicely.

   Hello everyone! It's Kurayamiblack here (duh). Okay, so I've been talking with some people and I've decided that I CAN'T RUN SHINING NOVA ALONE! Everyone expects me to solve all their problems for them and it's just not working out. I'm especially sick of those people who complain about the site not being good, and then expect me to fix it by myself, and if I can't do it, they complain some more instead of helping out. Seriously, if you want the site to improve so much, don't just sit there and watch me struggle with it, get up and help me!

   Okay, so here's the news, OverDrive said he/she'd help me run this FreeWebs site which is good news because if you haven't noticed, we've gotten a new one! This new site has "ShiningNova" in it's URL instead of "Kurayamiblack" which matches! Well, this is the first big step towards improving Shining Nova, and to all you visitors reading this who aren't a part of our site, go to our forums and register to find out how you can help  improve the site!

   Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that now since OverDrive is helping with this Freewebs page, this News Section will update once per week instead of daily. The Nova News section will be primarily about Shining Nova itself and how the forums are coming along. The Gaming News section will be updated from time to time as well so be sure to check that out too. The Gaming News section will mostly focus on the bigger gaming titles so don't expect too much at one time.
