Please note: Many of IHW's performances are given for private or company functions, and are not open to the public- so they won't be listed here. However, when we do dance somewhere you can watch us, we will be sure to mention it below!

Amira has acheived associate teacher status with the SADTA- one of very few BDASA teachers to hve acheived this so far.

01 May 2009: Amira will be performing at the Asmahaan Bellydance Seminar Showcase
22-26 May 2009: IHW will be providing the entertainment at the Middle Eastern Food Festival, Emperor's Palace.
08 Aug 2009: IHW Fusion will be participatig in the Tribalation Showcase. Wits Downstair's theatre. Station Street, Braamfontein [Parking Senate House Basement]. Tickets R80/R45 u/12 and Seniors.
05 Sep 2009: Shimmer will be performing at Tom Newby's 'Great Race'
12 Sep 2009: IHW and Shimmer will be performing at 'Bellydance, sounds of Africa'. Paterson Park Rec Centre, Norwood.
09 Oct 2009: Amira will be appearing alongside Sharon Kihara in her showcase performance.
[13 Oct 2009: A reminder to all students this is our at venue dress rehersal date 18:00-21:00]
17 Oct: 2009: IHW and Shimmer will be featured in 'Cinderella, Queen of Egypt' @ the Boksburg Town Hall, cnr Trichardt and Comissioner. 19:00 Tickets on sale now: R60 Adults, R30 u/12 and Pensioners.
23-25 Oct: 2009: IHW will be appearing at the International Oriental Dance Festival, Cape Town.
07 Nov 2009: The Shimmer Summer Shimmython will be rocking everyone's socks
14 Nov 2009: Amira will be guest starring at Allure Studio's Year end Hafla.

02/03 May 2009: The Asmahaan Bellydance Seminar will be hosting a variety of workshops by local and international teachers, including Amira's Floor fusion and Sword/Balancing workshops. Contact the Studio for more details.
16 Jun 2009: Shimmer will be celebrating youth day with a series of beginner's workshops.
18 July 2009: Shimmer will be hosting a special series of beginners workshops for all ages.
10 Aug 2009: Celebrate the goddess inside every woman with an exciting beginners workshop or discover the art of Tribal Bellydance.
02-04 Sep 2009: Rania will again be teaching in SA.
05/06 Sep 2009: A weekend of workshops with Gauteng's local teachers will be offered.
