The meeting is tonight at 6 PM.
The summer schedule has been posted. Hard copies will be given out tonight along with other information. Be sure to come.
Additionally, the site will be completely revamped during the next couple of months. This includes a new title bar, seeing as many of the pictured runners will be graduating, new rosters, the new meet schedule, and new Coachs' bios. Keep checking back.

If you haven't yet heard, Coach Brand and Coach Montgomery are leaving at the end of this year. There will be a meeting on Wednesday, May 7th to meet the new coaches, Coach Greg Mott and Coach Darci Mott. The meeting will be from 6-7 PM. Please plan to attend.

Tyler Mattix has accepted a scholarship to run Cross Country at North Georgia College and State University. This Wednesday, Feb. 27, he will be signing his letter of intent in the Shiloh Alumni Room. Everybody is invited to come and congratulate him.

Sorry there haven't been any updates on the website lately, but until the next XC season draws nearer, there probably won't be very much news. Keep checking back for updates though, as more will be posted as soon as we find out.
Also, the track season is starting up again. If anybody is interested in running for the track team, it's still not too late. Hurry and tell Coach Hudson.

Senior Graduation -- Come see our XC seniors @ graduation.
Summer Practices -- Try and come out to Juhan in the summer to get an early start on the new season. Practices will most likely begin in late June-July.

Congratulations varsity ladies! The team placed 18th out of 31 teams. Everyone had a great race.The banquet is tomorrow, everyone. Don't forget, runners are free but any guests have to pay $11. It's being catered by Famous Dave's and if you haven't yet ordered a DVD and you want one, it can be purchased at the banquet. It will be held in the Commons at 6:30 pm.
One last thing, as you may know, we are losing fifteen seniors this year. This means we need to do some serious recruiting. Tell all of your friends to join and if you know any 8th graders, see if you can convince them to join. It'll be a great season next year but we really need to start recruiting soon for both the ladies and men teams.

Great race at Region, everyone!Unfortunately, the Men's team did not make it to state but everybody put forth their best effort and tried their hardest. It was a great season; good job everyone!
The girls' season is still not over, though. Congratulations varsity ladies on making it to State! You've worked hard and deserved it. The State meet will be at Carrolton this Saturday. More info will be posted soon.

Also, don't forget about the banquet on November 15. If you haven't paid yet, be sure to as soon as possible.

The Cross Country banquet will be November 15.Angela Vina sent out an email with information about the banquet, but if you didn't receive one for any reason, here it is:
- We need someone to make a banquet program. Fran has a copy of the one from two years ago.
- We need someone to get a cake.
- We can always use people to help clean up afterwards.
Also, you may have noticed the new title image on the site. If you don't have a picture included on there, I'm sorry. I'll work on trying some other things. The boys varsity picture is now posted below the title and if anybody has a picture of the girls' team, I'll be glad to post it if you can get it to me.

The final Cross Country team night will be Monday Oct 29, 7 pm at the Mattix's house.
Mrs. Mattix will provide bread and drinks. We need volunteers for pasta dishes - lasagna, spaghetti or any other pasta dish you like. Please let me know if you can bring a pasta dish.
Also, Boys should bring salads
Girls should bring fruit.
The all important Region meet is Saturday November 3rd.

The Cross Country car wash was today. We had a huge success! Thanks to everybody who helped and donated.
