CONTRACT/GUARANTEE/DEPOSITS

1.    Buyer will have 72 hours to have puppy checked by its own veterinarian.  Should Buyer decide not to have puppy vet checked, this health guarantee will be considered null and void and Buyer assumes full responsibility for the puppy.  THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON.

2.  This guarantee does not cover what in this breed is considered normal, which includes but is not limited to under bite, and both inguinal and umbilical hernias. If your puppy is found to have a congenital, life threatening disorder, you must notify the Breeder within twenty-four hours and the Buyer will have the following recourse:

     a) Buyer may return the puppy for a replacement puppy of equal value (when available), no later than forty-eight hours from the date of the exam upon providing a written, signed statement from a veterinarian (including vet's phone number) explaining the disorder; or

     b) Buyer may elect to keep the puppy and assume any and all expenses related to the puppy's care and handling.  All veterinarian costs will be the responsibility of the Buyer.

3.    We will not be responsible for any vet bills. Puppies will be vet checked and will have at least one of their series of shots before leaving our home.  We will guarantee the health of the puppy for up to one year from the date of purchase if all other terms and conditions of this contract are satisfied.  Replacement will not be provided if it is found the puppy was abused, neglected, or the Buyer does not have up to date vaccination and fecal records, has exposed the puppy to harmful substances, improper or carless handling by children, attacks by other animals or the puppy has been exposed to unvaccinated canines including those at the Buyer's veterinarian's office, pet supply stores, etc.

4.     All puppies are sold as "Pet Quality" and their ability to be shown and/or bred is not guaranteed.  Most are sold with spay/neuter contracts.  WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SIZE, COAT OR COLOR OF PUPPY AT ADULT AGE.

5.     Buyer understands that small breed dogs cannot tolerate a lot of handling and can become hypoglycemic  (low blood sugar).  Buyer agrees to make sure puppy has plenty of food and water and is eating well after he/she leaves our home.  WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEATH RELATED TO HYPOGLYCEMIA.

6.  Buyer also understands that this is an indoor breed and IS NOT to be kept outdoors.  Buyer has also been advised of the special grooming required to maintain this breed and agrees to provide same.

7.     Buyer agrees not to sell any puppy/adult purchased from us to a commercial broker or pet store.

8.     Right of First Refusal:  If at any time, you decide you can no longer keep the puppy/adult you have purchased from us, you must immediately contact us so that we may have the right to recover it from you.  There will be a fee of $200.00 deducted from the original/resale purchase price regarding any refund.  If we allow the return of the puppy/adult, any refund will be provided to you upon placement of the puppy in a new home.  WE DO NOT WANT ANY OF OUR PUPPIES/DOGS TO END UP AT A SHELTER.

THIS CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE PARTIES. NO OTHER GUARANTEES/WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  THIS CONTRACT ENFORCEABLE UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA.  

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DEPOSIT

We require a deposit of 50% of the purchase price of the puppy Due when you pick out your puppy if local or within 48 hours if not local.  The balance is due upon receipt of the puppy or within 10 days of choosing puppy whichever occurs first.  All deposits are nonrefundble; however, they are transferrable.  If you decide to wait for another litter instead, you can transfer your deposit for up to one year.  If you do not choose another puppy within one year, your deposit is forfeited.
