Hooray! We have just confirmed our Shigatsu-con location and date!! Please visit the Location/Date subpage for further information.

Today is a big day for the staff of Shigatsu-con! We will be confirming our convention date. I assume I will get this information later today, and I will post it as soon as possiable.

Also, we will be handing out flyers around school today with the assumed date, and if there are any changes, anyone who recieved a flyer/anyone intrested will have to check the website for updates.

Emlay and I were sketching for mascot ideas today, and we both came across something really cute. Emlay's isnt finished yet, but I managed to get mine scanned and digitally edited. Its the fat little kitty in the upper left hand corner. So, for now, the Shigatsu-con has an official mascot!

Soon to be two! I will be updating with Emlay's idea once its finished.

Today was the second day of donation collecting. Thank you everyone for donating!

Oh yes! We are also changing locations from Henrietta Town Park, to Brighton Park. More updates will be added soon.

Welcome to the Shigatsu-Con 2006 Rush-Henrietta Cosplay Convention! Due to the lack of conventions in Rochester, Emlay and I decided that it was about time for one, dedicated to all the anime fans in R-H. We are currently in the process of collecting donations to get off the ground, and have a good start to an exciting event. The convention will probably be held in late April, early May, so we really need to buckle down and begin preparing. We are planning on having the following activities/events at the convention:

- Costume Contest

- Art Contest

- Iron Cosplay

- Karaoke

These aren't the limits to the events. As time goes on, the more events we will have. So check back regularly for event updates! Prizes will be given to the Costume Contest, Art Contest, and Iron Cosplay winners. More event details will be posted soon.

So with all of this said, wish us luck on establishing the Shigatsu-Con 2006 Rush-Henrietta Cosplay Convention!
