2:08:30...Great time! How did it go?

I found your site through _Refuse to Regain_, and have been enjoying reading about your running. I started running over a year ago, and just ran my first half-marathon: a great experience.

This weekend I'm staying with some friends in San Francisco to run in the Bay to Breakers 12k...should be fun, and a different experience than the Vancouver marathon.

Losing weight allowed me to find this new joy in my life, running, and I'm always interested to see others who have made this discovery as well.

I just read your comment on Roni's site. Clicked on your site and read your story. I am also WW. I have lost a total of 30 pounds and 10 more to go. Your story inspired me to get moving. Thank you.

Way to go Sheri. You are doing such a fantastic job. Isn't it GREAT to set and conquer these challenges for yourself. It must feel absolutely wonderful.

So wonderful to see another soul taking charge of their health. I have lost 20 pounds since I stopped working with a low carb vegetarian diet. I want to lose another 30 in the next year. I am going to Yoga Teacher Training to get certified in November which means I live at the retreat for the whole month. I hope to run at lunch time or walk briskly around the beautiful retreat center. www.expandinglight.com.

You go girl! 5Ks cool!

I just started WW Core. I was having trouble keeping up with the tracking. Its yummy and I do like the whole grains for the starch. I am always looking for new ways to cook the polenta, brown rice, bulgar etc. some of the new WW cookbooks have notations for core recipes or any easy way to make it core but they're not exactly stuffed with recipes. Opps sorry its core we aren't suppose to go for stuffed. :D

Wow, you are doing fantastic. Miss gabbing with you and it was great to read and look at all your pictures. When we get up to SJ we visit my daughter and she has such a schedule for us we don't have any time left. If I do it would be great to see you. Keep up the good work at keeping healthy!!
