This is a group for mothers that have, for whatever reason, stopped breastfeeding for a period of time and wish to relactate again or induce lactation. We are here to help each other with the struggles and frustrations encountered when trying to rebuild a breastfeeding relationship as well as give information concerning such topics as rebuilding milk supply, milk allergies, "lazy eaters", latch on difficulties, supplemental feedings, relactation, inducing lactation, etc. I created this group due to relactating for my daughter since following the advice of her doctors, we switched to thickened formula feeding which only aggrivated her feeding problems. I've found through this experience that breastmilk is truly the perfect food for a baby. I've overcome the obstacles faced with trying to rebuild a milk supply from ground zero, and I'm offering support for those ladies out there who wish to do the same. We are here to give mothers a place to express their frustrations as well as share their accomplishments as they face the difficult task of relactating or inducing lactation for an adopted baby.
